The GM Tavares is super unprofessional. He has made racial comments to black women there. He has grabbed a team member by the back of the neck. He has repeatedly put team members down on the sales floor. He also has been caught by a previous team member for tag switching and retaliated against them.

They have really bad customer service, I was Exchanging stuff, the lady on The cash register for the return didn’t even ask what’s the problem and after she was extremely rude and disrespectful. This isnt the attitude we need with customers who need help. I went back with items to purchase at the same desk and she not only disrespected but also yelled at my face. Her name is victoria.

I did not have a Good experience.I have been shopping at Menards for 40 Years Now.I went to a different Menards for 21 Inch T5 fluorescent Light Bulbs.This other Menards did not have any in stock.They told me that The Menards on Highway 100 by Lincoln had 12 of these Light bulbs in stock.I went to Menards on Highway 100.It was a waste of my Time.Yes they had 12 of these Light bulbs in stock, however none of them were put out on the shelves.I was told that they came in two days ago and that they have not been unpacked yet.Instead of having a employee unpack some of them so that I could buy a couple of them, I was told to come back Tomorrow or to go to another Menards location.Keep in mind that I had to take 3 buses to get to this location and then walk in the Rain and the Snow to get to this location.I left Menards without buying what I needed.This used to be a really Good Menards location. Not anymore.Instead I walked over to The Home Depot a couple of blocks down.The Home Depot had plenty of the Light bulbs that I needed and they were out on the shelves too.Yes they were a little bit more expensive but that is OK because at least the employees at The Home Depot took Time to help me out and find what I was looking for.The Home Depot also has a better Christmas display and hard to find items that your store does not carry.I will not shop at Menards anymore.I will be shopping at The Home Depot from now on

This store used to be my go to but has since dropped to third place. It's good at Black Friday season in their limited time specials.

Friendly staff are very helpful in assisting with finding items. Due to its smaller size compared to other locations they have less seasonal items to select from.

Went there yesterday (9/19/23) to pick up some items that were in the Ad, which stated "now through 10/1". Management refused to honor the Ad and stated that no matter what their printed Ad said, the sale didn't start until 9/20. Not the first time this location has refused to do this or honor their own pricing mistakes.

Security guard had a power trip, cause I wouldn’t push a cart of flooring over to the other side of the cashier floor cause 13 of the same exact kind of flooring needed to be individually rung up, then I had to push it back to the “out” door to load it. My friend really needed it so she put up with the power trip and loaded 13 50 lb flooring packages into the back of her car while no one on the staff helped. She is 100 pounds soaking wet, and spent over a thousand dollars with this franchise. Grown men watched her I asked to speak to a manager and the security guard yelled for me to leave. Astounded

Menarda in West Allis is a small but mighty store. Always helpful service and have what I need!

The West Allis Menards is easy to find things in, I feel like this location is not as big as some of the other stores. I like the smaller store, it is not overwhelming to me. The locals were helpful when I shopped, one of the customers helped me find ant bait and even told me coffee grinds could help. I just may make the drive to this store again for sheer size of it.
