Don’t bring car here ever! Dropped off car for recalls with no check engine light. When it was done I Got keys, sat down and started up with check engine light on so I didn’t drive it and walked back in. Manager said let’s do a diagnostic and see what the miles were when the check engine light came on and it’s going to be a $225 charge. He said if check engine light came on when they had possession of the car then he would fix it free and no charge for diagnosing. Diagnostic printout showed multiple codes (in typed print) and the mileage when codes appeared were written in pen (instead of typed) I said anyone can write anything in pen and I want to see the actual diagnostic on the computer and not written in pen. He then told a service girl to “handle this”, she said the hand written mileage is standard procedure and pay us $225 if you want the car back. Service girl was very polite and just doing her job but I feel service manager manipulated the situation in order to get my money

Words of advice: go to the Glendale BMW. I went to the West Allis dealership for an oil change because I had moved and this was the closer option and I regret not going to the Glendale location. The people there are much more accommodating and helpful. They don’t try to nickel and dime you like they do at the West Allis location.

I will NOT be back to this dealership nor recommend them! Service dept sucks! I had an appointment to get some concerns I had looked at, they tell me it’s not a single diagnosis charge, it’s PER CONCERN!? First I’ve ever heard of that. I was told on the phone there wouldn’t even be a diagnosis charge to tell me if my car was leaking oil so that was a lie. They would not offer me a loaner car because it’s “too old” it’s a 2019. I have a 3rd party warranty and was told “even if we diagnose it today, the repair work won’t start until we receive payment in full from the company, and that could take up to 2 weeks and we hold your car until then” she told me with ZERO thoughtfulness or concern for my situation with how I’m going to get to and from work. My warranty company will only give me a loaner AFTER the work starts and takes longer than 1 day, see the problem here?? So i turned to BMW MILWAUKEE NORTH in my time of need! Customer service was much more understanding!

I wanted to surprise my wife with a new car for her Birthday. Mike helped me greatly to make it happen. No pressure sales and very knowledgeable on BMWs. I had the best car buying experience ever.

I guess if your not wealthy and ask the wrong questions they treat you like your unimportant. No call backs, no questions answered just poor customer service. Ryan the service manager is a bright spot in a dark place. International BMW you can do better!

Service manager Ryan Tisa either doesn’t know how to troubleshoot technical issues properly or is dishonest.
My car threw multiple serious errors at once caused by low voltage from an old battery. Ryan’s initial diagnosis claimed that one of these was caused by the battery (~$600 to replace) and one by a faulty fuel throttle motor (~$1200 to replace). Spending just a few minutes on bmw forums I was able to see a consensus that when a bmw throws multiple major system errors at once, it is usually caused by low voltage from the battery. I communicated back to Ryan that I would like them to just change the battery to see if it fixed both errors. Guess what? It did.
If I was able to properly troubleshoot my car’s problem by reading a forum for a few minutes, why was Ryan not able to do this? In my interaction with Ryan Tisa and International BMW, it was clear that they were primarily focused on milking an unfortunate situation for as much money as they could get out of it. I’m not from Milwaukee and was just passing through when this happened. Rather than helping me a guy down on his luck, they took full advantage of my bad situation. They even pushed over $5k in other unnecessary repairs. This is disgusting behavior, and I don’t understand how places like this are still in business. In the end, they charged me $850 just for the diagnosis and battery replacement. Why would you ever patronize a business like this? Never again.

“Unknowledgeable and unwilling to help customer service department”
1600 miles in, my X5 got a nail in the Pirelli run-flats. Schedule a service and I am asked to buy a new tire. Did my research and found out Pirelli covers road hazard within the first year and if the tread is more than 8/32. Called the service manager, Eric, and left a voicemail with details, never heard back from him. Very poor customer service.

What initially seemed like a promising experience very quickly turned into complete disregard. I went in unsure of what BMW I wanted. Our sales person was initially very helpful and helped me find a 2023 550i.Finance department initially couldn't find me a lender but then did for 11k down and proof of paystubs. There was also an initial deal from capitol one that was suppodely requesting 50 percent down (which i had ready). After submitting taxed paystubs my sales rep stated the lender was requested a 10-99 (used for contractors and not Taxed exmployees)I called for two days to both the lender, sales rep, and front desk trying to speak to anyone (gm, financing department, all went to voicemail everytime) left emails and voicemails to my rep and finance manager stating that made no sense and inquiring more info.I never heard back so I went to lexus the next day and got approved for a 2023 RC350 F sport coupe fully loaded by the same lender (capitol one) for 56k with only 11k down. The customer service was night and day and I drove off with my vehicle. For a luxury brand this was by far the easiest vehicle I ever purchased. There's alot of 1 star reviews of this place within the past year ranging from service to communication. If you want to be seen as a dollar sign go to BMW internationalIf you want to actually feel taken care of I highly suggest going to a different BMW dealership or considering a different Make.
