As a dedicated business owner, I prioritize efficiency and customer satisfaction above all else. However, I must express my profound disappointment with Central Transport's freight department. The persistent lack of communication and substandard customer service have been deeply disheartening.
It is disconcerting to witness such unsolicited attitudes from their team without any semblance of apology or accountability.At my business we strive to uphold the highest standards of service, and unfortunately, this experience falls short of our expectations.
We would never suggest this company for freight to anyone.

Every time I find out one of my shipments is on a central truck I say a prayer in hopes it arrives in one piece, on time and doesn't sit at a terminal for an additional week. Go elsewhere.

I will NEVER use this company again. They damaged a new (<$8000) cable puller. It was originally banded to a pallet then rapped in plastic. The customer did not accept it due to damage. It arrived on a broken pallet not banded not wrapped with a punctured engine. After MONTHS working with Cental (Only over email they refused to call or give a number) they denied our claim. They gave us nothing for the damaged product. Take this as a warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I really feel bad for the customer service team. I can only imagine the complaints they have to deal with on a daily basis. This company has got the be the most poorly managed freight company in the UNIVERSE! They lie about where your freight is, when it's going to be delivered, and then they smash the sh*t out of it and drop it off.Lesson here: You get what you pay for. Please spend the few extra bucks to get your freight shipped by a more reputable company.Customer service was very nice, couldn't help me, but kept a calm tone during our conversation.

I would not give any stars if i had that option, by far one of thee worst places i have ever worked at, absolutely zero respect for any of there drivers, the drivers are good people, management are petty to a whole new extreme level, they are all on powertrips will write you up for anything so do not walk into work with a shoe lace on the ground type of deal. You will be in cold weather conditions equiptment is absolute junk forklifts batteries bleed sulfiric acid into the air that you get to breath in, tractors are decent pretty new, trailers are absolute garbage one of the worst ive seen in this industry holes in trailer roofs holes in trailer sides, you will be blamed for stuff you did not do, the whole operation is setup to be fool proof but realistically its to make your job harder then what it should be. If youd like to be the laughing stock of the trucking industry sign up for central transport.

At 9:45 AM April 4, a Central Transport cab pulling a Vitran trailer dropped a chunk of ice through my windshield on the freeway in Kenosha County, WI. When I tried to signal the driver he accelerated south into Illinois. I contacted CT to initiate a claim for my broken windshield. Alyssa told me they would be in touch.
They have not contacted me since. I paid for a replacement windshield and missed a day of work due to their negligence. I will be putting their cab's DOT#, Vitran license plate # and sheriff's report on all websites. People need to know who the irresponsible trucking companies are. I'm in logistics, too. Central Transport gives us all a bad name that only companies like them should bear.
