“Ron the Light Doctor was friendly, flexible and attentive. He arranged a quick turnaround on a floor lamp wiring problem over the phone. He completed the work within a day or two over a weekend, even agreeing to off-hours appointments for drop-off and pick-up. The lamp worked as good as new when I plugged it in back home. Ron has a large work area with lamp parts and jobs in progress, plus a separate showroom for lamps ready to buy. Do not be put off by A-1's basement quarters in a strip mall. The shop is located in a nice Shorewood neighborhood (near my favorite neighborhood deli) and that no doubt explains the Light Doctor's reasonable repair charge.”

“Definitely one of the best antique stores I have ever been to! Three floors with around 30 vendors loaded with a wide array of collectibles including beautiful art, pottery, clothing, jewelry, furniture and lighting, etc. You are guaranteed to find something unique even if you are not into antiques!The building itself is huge, beautiful and well lit with exposed brick and large windows. Items are presented artfully where you don't feel like a bull in a china cabinet as much as your typical antique store.Check it out!”

“This was the coolest vintage shop I have ever been to. The pieces and rare collectibles are so unique and reasonably priced. I had so much fun exploring what was available. It took a lot of restraint not to buy everything I saw. I ended up taking home a pillsbury dough boy cookie jar, Chicago bulls leather jacket, John Deere mug and set of tiger mugs and pitcher. The staff was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.”

“We just want to say that Eric with Brew City is such a nice man and very knowledgeable! We are not sure if we want to do an estate sale or auction. He drove down from Milwaukee to Racine just to sit with us, talk and give us a lot of helpful info. We didn't really have any items that he deals in but he still sat with us and was very helpful. We offered to compensate him for his drive with gas prices so high and he absolutely refused. I would recommend contacting him if you are interested in the services he offers!”
