I had 3 children in this daycare but it dropped down to 1 when they told me they were dropping the bussing program to my older 2 boys school. I kept my daughter in there because I loved her teachers and they treated her like she was one of their own children. Now I find out a week before school starts that they are no longer taking drop in kids (ones who only come on school off days). They could have told me the beginning of summer so my 4 yr old daughter didn’t have to adjust to big kid school AND a new daycare for only random off days. The director’s solution was to send her to the champions program which she had no information on and come to find out the closest one is about a 20 minute drive from my house then another 30 minutes to get to work. How is that a situation? The respect and common curtesy is lacking at this facility. I was highly recommending this place until the new director started and it all went downhill. Please if you have kids there remove them and find a better facility!! (Gave 2 stars because some of the teachers are absolutely amazing but highly underpaid!)

We started daycare when my child was 20 months old after having in home care before. The transition was very smooth because the staff at this center is so caring, thoughtful, communicative. We've been very happy with our experience at this center!

I supported this location until the discriminatory comments and actions started. My son attended since he was 23 months and ended after his 3rd birthday. Soon as I disclosed his disability after discovering it (did not have to), because I sought help, to his teachers and center, his behavior suddenly became intense and aggressive. Before all this, I would drop off to not being spoken to, being looked down upon, and falsified fevers after being cleared from Dr (I was called from work for a pink eye he didn’t have), falsified fevers, etc. To save them, I’ll keep to myself that their own employee told ME my son was singled out but another child of lighter complexion did the same behaviors. I would love to go to the news about this. I was way too nice. Do better and take equity PD days.

Worst day care ever my daughter is 6 months old and being neglected by the staff that get paid to watch children. I sent my daughter with socks and my brother picked her up and they didn’t have her socks on and it was cold. She is now with runny nose and they also keep taking things out her bag and keeping them instead of asking for supplies.

When I called about bringing my children there I spoke with Janella and she was so great! She was incredibly helpful, nice, and very informative. She made the conversation so easy and made me feel so comfortable. She answered every question I had with confidence which put my mind at ease about this daycare. Since there aren't any in person tours allowed right now she gave me options on how to see the center. She really made a difficult situation very easy going and comfortable. If everyone in that center is as great as her I will have no problem bringing my kiddos there.

This location is very unprofessional and not well trained on diversity. The turnover is so bad that I never know who my children’s teachers are. The director and assistant directors listen to only respond and not actually understand. They will walk away while you’re voicing your concern. This has been the WORST experience as far as daycare goes.

Terrible with employees and the children!!!!!! Such a disappointment and I feel sorry for the people that trust these people! Disgusted on how they treat employees! What have a business where you’re suppose to care for human beings yet treat them like trash!!!

My twins love coming to daycare! Their teachers have made them feel welcomed and comfortable. I can tell that they are learning tons of things, at the age of 1. This is a clean family oriented daycare. All the teachers know my kids on a first name basis. they keep me updated on how they're progressing #recommended :)

Our 1.5 year old has been with 61st St KinderCare since she was 4 months old and we couldn’t be more pleased with the center. The caregivers are very kind, always saying good morning/good night and telling me about DDs day while wearing a smile. The center is very clean and has lots of space for the LOs to play and run around in. Despite your normal baby and toddler tears, the kids are usually very happy and DD is always excited to see her caregivers in the morning. There have been many times I’ve gone to pick up DD and she has wanted to stay and play at the end of the day, showing how much she enjoys her space and time there. I feel very comfortable and safe with the center and that’s one of the most important things about 61st St to me, I can leave DD for the day knowing she is happy, stimulated, learning, and well taken care of. I want to thank 61st St KinderCare for taking such good care of DD (the most precious thing in our lives) while we go to work every day - you do a fantastic job! I definitely recommend this center to other parents.

Was an excellent place until room 1A discovered my daughter was black. Then she started being mistreated and neglected. The teacher in the room were very disrespectful an always culturally offensive. Great for whites, horrible for minorities. Pulled my daughter after 1month of attending, picked her up an 3 teachers each estimated what time my child ate last. Super sad. If your child does attend, I suggest you do random pop ups, an early pick ups.

The staff is great. I picked up daughter one day and forgot her cooking. When I called the center to ask about it they said they would meet me at the curb so I didn't have to get my daughter out of her car seat again. It was great.

Worst daycare that ever existed !! They are not responsible and very unprofessional. They are to busy talking to pay attention to the children. The director is lazy and doesn't help with anything I would give this place a hundred negative stars and if you care about the well being of your children DO NOT take them here.
