Not gonna lie...I LOVE the Menomonee Falls location. I had to adjust to the layout being different. Change is weird for anybody...lol. Nice staff...need to hit the hot tub and steam room next visit since this visit was just a workout.

I had my kids on my account. I missed 1 month because I needed to update my card. Once I updated it, they charged me for my kids then kicked them off the account then told me I had to pay ANOTHER fee to add them back on. When I asked why that was the staff told me, "that's a cooperate thing and I can't do nothing about it"

I signed up for a membership with the WAC several months back and decided it was not for me after a month. I stopped into the club to cancel and was told the request had been put in. I am not typically the one the handles finances in my relationship but have taken over the duties recently because my partner has started cancer treatment. I noticed a charge from the WAC this week and called to inquire. I spoke with a young man who didn’t give me his name but was cutting me off from the first sentence. He looked my account up and said I was active and had been paying for months. I explained I had been assured it was cancelled and I hadn’t seen the charge before, but hadn’t used the services at all. He cut across me speaking again and was snarky about it being obviously not my fault that I didn’t notice that I’d been charged and that I was obviously at fault. When there was a break in him talking over me I said I did not appreciate this conversation and made it clear I’d like to cancel. He said, over me again, “you have a great day ma’am”. And hung up. Not even upset that they can’t refund the months I was paying for, mostly shocked at the attitude and the unkindness. Someone made an error when they didn’t send the request to cancel and the WAC should’ve made that right, but they didn’t. I don’t have proof because I went into the club instead of calling and I get that. Irritating that I dropped hundreds of dollars, but I could have seen that if I was looking for it. But for christs sake, You don’t know who you’re talking to on the other end of the phone and what their day or life has been like, and some people are going through hell. Treat people with decent respect. Never will use the WAC again and can’t recommend the customer service in the Business Services department.

This location is decent . The amenities are descent as well, this location has the best basketball gym out of all the locations to me. I will give this location two stars because unfortunately Most of the Wac employees are racist & rude. As I walk into this location, I am not greeted properly at all , as a matter of fact their expressions are so unwelcoming, just for me to hand them my membership card to get it snatched out of my hands as if I’m nasty or they have a problem with me. When they hand me my locker key they are throwing them in my hand. I can’t write everything down on here, so I will write another review with the rest of this review

Big fan of the sauna, steam room and shower set up at this location. The staff is always absolutely delightful! Even at 4am! At every location! This is BY FAR THE MOST CONSISTENTLY PLEASANT FULL GYM EXPERIENCE ACROSS THE BOARD inmynotsohumbleopinion............... THEY ARE WORTH THE PRICE!!!

Nice gym and probably one of the best WAC locations, but the front desk staff are terrible. Standing around talking when people are lining up to check in. Most seem to be high school or college students too stoned to know what’s going on around them.

I've been a member since 2018. Pros: -Decent equipment, not too busy during non-peak hours. -keeps good hours and great location. -Staff at the desk is almost always friendly and helpful. Aarif, in particular, is always friendly, helpful, and sets a good tone. -The locker room is cramped, but clean. Cons: -Pricing is a bit absurd. I paid half the price for a larger, newer gym with twice the equipment in San Diego, where overhead would have been at least 50% higher. I don't begrudge the WAC their market dominance, but it does mean that Crunch or some other national chain has a golden opportunity in Greater Milwaukee. -some of the teenaged staff clearly isn't trained. Can't answer questions like, "hey what are you hours tomorrow?" When tomorrow is a holiday. And sometimes doesn't even acknowledge you, but would rather carry on whatever conversation they were having amongst each other. Not a big deal though, just kids being kids. -instead of waiting until after hours to clean, staff will vacuum around you while you lift as though you aren't there. Not the safest idea to be dragging tripping hazards around while people are carrying free weights to and from the rack. Big institutional problem: in fall of 2021, a member was caught filming me and dozens of other members (some were minors) changing and showering in the locker room. This form of sexual assault is NOT the club's fault. This creep broke the rules established by the WAC. He was arrested, and then quickly fled the country after posting bail (that's a different story...). My problem with the WAC is not that this happened, but in how they dealt with it. Or just decided not to deal with it. I found out about the whole thing when a Wauwatosa Police detective pulled up to my house in a squad car and knocked on my door. It scared the crap out of my pregnant wife. The detective told me that the WAC management identified me from the videos and provided my info to the police. Never once did management reach out to inform me about the incident, inform me that the police would be in contact, or attempt to check in with me about it. I'm a businessman. I get that management needs to protect the company against any liability. But the way this incident was mishandled continues to bother me on a daily basis. What was their strategy? Let the police talk with the affected members and never acknowledge that this happened? What if something even more serious happened? Instead of rising to the occasion, management acted cowardly and/or lazily. The inaction conveys that the WAC does not see me, or it's other members, as anything other than a source of a revenue. It's managerial incompetence at best, but probably indicates a callous disregard for the well-being of membership. In spite of the pricing, Despite the minor 'cons' listed above, I used to be a huge advocate of the WAC. I encouraged my buddies to join. But after this, why would anyone have loyalty? I'm waiting for Crunch (my gym in San Diego) or someone else to open up nearby. It's a golden opportunity. The WAC doesn't seem to care, and it definitely hasn't earned my loyalty.

My wife and I are members and quite satisfied with the gym. I am writing to particularly single out PT Ericka Hawke, who provides me with a deep tissue massage as I recover from an injury to my right leg. Ericka is a consummate professional. Her technique is thorough - she listens and adjusts her treatment accordingly - is compassionate and empathetic, and is a pleasant person to boot. I am very satisfied with Ericka's service and recommend her highly.

The WAC is a decent location. The amenities are vast but service and staff are rude and non accommodating.Bringing my son to the gym with me was difficult in the fact they wouldn’t allow him to come into the gym with me! The gym was empty and not in use… not having trust in your guests to have common courtesy is unfortunate! If the gym was to all of the sudden fill… I don’t think we would’ve minded leaving. Let’s be honest this policy makes NO SENSE
