The Salamander is one of my favorite places to shop every time I come to Wisconsin. I love their style of clothing and accessories and the staff are amazingly helpful and kind. Don't miss this shop if you're in Wauwatosa!

After a nice snack in a neighboring restaurant, I walked in this boutique not knowing what to expect. First of all, a friendly hello greeted us as we walked in, despite close to the closing time. Secondly, all of the great items displayed so nicely caught my attention. Great prints, hats, shoes, and fun accessories to add to any girl's closet. A MUST visit to this boutique will be added to every time I come up to the Milwaukee area. I am from Chicago.

I absolutely love this store! The clothes and accessories are always so unique and you know you won't find them anywhere else. There are always plenty of sizes and everyone who works there is very friendly. Always try to pop in a couple times a year!

Chelsea was an absolute joy when I dropped by the shop with my mom + sister. Salamander offers some very high end brands. Chelsea will tell you if something looks good or if you should move in a different direction. I had an absolute blast and got some amazing pairs of jeans!! I'll definitely be coming here again!! My mom scored two Desigual items!! And, my sister got some nice jeans and a skirt. The jewelry is incredible! There's a lot of simple, statement pieces that will play up any outfit.

Can't say enough good things about the Salamander and Leslie, Chelsea, Mary and others! This has been our (my daughters also) go-to place for many years. Leslie, the owner, has weathered the economic storms and always has exciting and different wearable items. I travel with some frequency (pre pandemic) and rarely buy clothes elsewhere because I am always pleased with what the Salamander has to offer. Plus, they develop relationships with their customers; I trust their advice and knowledge about their products.

I've been so bored with the clothes I see in the stores lately. I did NOT have that problem at Salamander! Truly original, unique, beautiful clothes! When people ask me, "Where did you get that gorgeous dress/sweater/necklace?", I'm only too happy to share where!

I needed to drive up and back from Chicago to Milwaukee on the same day. I had googled ‘best boutiques’ before making my trip and Salamander Boutique was highly recommended. I couldn’t have been more pleased! The owner (lovely lady whose name escapes me) was so personable and helpful, suggesting different items for me to try on. So many choices and styles! Found a lovely Jack by BB Dakota grey v-neck sweater which I will enjoy wearing over and over again. Highly recommend this boutique if you want one of a kind clothing/jewelry with exceptional customer service! Thank you - if I am back in Milwaukee, I’ll definitely stop in again! Worth the trip!
