My groomer that I have had the last two times have been very good. She knows where to trim my dog to keep her from matting. Very kind lady. I hope I get her again on the next grooming.

Grooming hours that are posted are never accurate. Did not get any answer when called to try to see if anyone was there for a nail trim. Multiple times I've stopped in for walk in nail trim and no one is there for grooming.

This is for the grooming services. Booked the appointment online with the price being stated as $50. They shaved my dog bald and gave her a haircut fit for a BOY dog. She called my dog a he numerous of times after I stated that she was a girl. When I got to the counter the total was over $80. When I asked why they said the groomer told me she was matted but she never told me that it was an additional fee. I will not be bringing my dog back here.

The grounds are filthy. Took my dog for a groom. Was not a good cut whatsoever as well as being expensive. I tried to ask for a recut. No one would answer the phone and upon reaching someone I got the runaround over and over. Asked for my money back eventually. No return contact. I'll not return nor will I recommend this store.

Stopped by here recently to have my Irish Setter groomed. We typically get her groomed at the Greenfield location but they were a bit booked out and we found a time slot here and went with it. Our groomer had never groomed an Irish Setter before (unsurprising as there aren't a super common breed here). They asked lots of questions on how we'd like it and even brought up a pic on their computer to see if that was what we were hoping for. The grooming area is clean and easily visible through big windows, which is always nice. The cut was slightly funky (a bit of a rigid line from the shorter on top to her longer fringe) but being it was her first Irish Setter, I thought it was a good first effort. Beyond that slight hiccup. we had a good experience!

Their groomer with the gauge ear rings in her ear, cut a 5in wide strip down my Son's back, then decides to call me and say she can't cut his hair. As if she couldnt see that before hand. I will never in my life step foot in this place again. Unprofessional and poor customer service. Even after hearing bad info about that groomer I decided to give her a shot, and it's true. She's lazy and obviously doesn't know what she is doing.

I was unable to return the items I had just purchased a few days ago because I didn't have the physical card but didn't need the physical card to make the purchase in the first place. On top of that, the lady at the counter interrogated me like I had brought a bunch of stolen items with my receipt. She was marking them off on my receipt then because i didn't have the physical card I wasn't allowed to return them.

I don't recommend anyone that cares about their pet to take them to Petco In Wauwatosa 124st. The groomer is very unprofessional told me that I was one of those individuals that make appointments and don't give 24 hour notice of cancelation and that I arrive too early. Not true I had made an appointment for my dog at 8:15 AM I did arrive early but waited outside until 8:13 The manager came out to tell me that the groomer Was not answering her text or calls and did not know what time she would be at the store and stated that she was very disappointed in her because this wasn't the 1st time she was late. She said that she would give me 20% off my bill because of our inconvenience. I took my dog home and made an appointment for Cooper hair grooming for the next day the appointment was for 8:15 a.m. I arrived at 8:13 the gloomer proceeded to tell me that I was early and needed to talk to the manager. She came back took took the information about the grooming . I told her about the manager saying that I would get 20% off the grooming because of the groomer not showing up the day before. She told me she didn't see this in her notes.That the manager hadn't written this in the notes . I asked her to bring in the manager so that we could straighten this out she brought in the manager but it was not the manager from the day before .The manager just stood there looking did not introduce herself did not say a word just listened This woman proceeded to tell me that I was placed on a list that I could not have special treatments done to my dog only from the walking list because I am one of those difficult customers Let me say this is the 1st time I've ever had problems with the groomers. Then she looked at my dog told me that the Cooper looked pretty good .That he did not need the under coat removal just around the area by his hind legs .The groomer gave us a call around 11:15 to tell me that Cooper was having a hard time with the hair dryer and that he was not taking it very well. So we had to give her more time so that she could get him dry. She said to pick him up around 1:00 pm.I picked up my dog and his backend was wet. She brings out a Grocery bag Full of hair And proceed to tell me she was charging me double for the removal of all that hair .When I got home I looked over my dog and found that they had necked his left back paw And the haircut was just awful. You could tell that she was upset while she was cutting my dog's hair. My mistake was to leave him with them but I didn't think that they would be so unprofessional.l Made a complaint to corporate office and they said that they would conduct an investigation in 48 hours On Tuesday I received a call from the manager of Petco in Wauwatosa She basically told me that they don't need my business . I should take my dog to a different groomer because she really didn't need my money. I told her that I have been a customer for Petco for more than 20 years and that I have 3 cats and a dog and I purchase their food and all the things they need from the store.l will never go to that Petco again I guess they don't need my business. Think twice before you take your furbaby

Every time I go as a walk in for nail trims for my dogs they are too busy and can't do them. Can I make an appointment NO. Then what's the point.

Garbage (at least for my first time). Came today at about 630 and needed help with a heat lamp for my bird. Asked the orange haired woman for some help and she told me to look in the reptile area and get a low watt light (that wasn't helpful). So I looked....and loooked...googled...and looked. I was confused because the lights said reptiles and I wasn't sure what to get. Went to the register and she asked if I found a lamp, I said "no, it's confusing." She said "oh". Then I was just like " I'll go to pet world where they can help me out", thinking she'd offer to help....nope. She just said "OK". So yea, this'll be my last time coming to this store.

Place is disorganized. Stopped in grooming salon and the manager was very rude and cold. No one asked if I needed help in the store and the store manager wasn't personable and seemed to not care. Wouldn't be back.

The store has a great selection of products and is very clean, however, the management is not so great. We had purchased a dwarf hamster and had to bring him back to the store for vet care (he developed a UTI). After a week and a half when we got him back, his right ear was ripped nearly in half. He was fine before going in, and the employees tried to paint it to be our fault that his ear was ripped. It appears they kept him in the same cage with another hamster, which is a big no-no for Robo hamsters. Very unimpressed, especially since our little guy is afraid now when we go to pet near his ear.
