I used to love shopping here. Unfortunately, the staff has forgotten who the customer is and how to treat them with respect. Every time I’ve had to return an item in the past 3 months, each staff member has given me attitude and lectures about not having my receipt. I use my Nordstrom card and they can look it up very easily. I’ve shopped all over the country and this place continues to decline .

The customer service in the Milwaukee area Nordstrom doesn't even come close to fitting the brand. Employees on their cell phones, checked out from the task of serving clients, and acting annoyed if they have the duty of helping a real person. Nordstrom in almost anywhere else in the country (pacific NW, NE, even NYC, anywhere South) is so much better in customer relations. Whoever is doing hiring and training for the Milwaukee-area Nordstrom should be held accountable by corporate. We have been life-long customers but after today's experience and how the employees made us feel, it was last straw, we will not return ..

Sahara is a beautiful angel. I'm not great at asking for help in stores, so I was brute forcing my way through every bra near my size and feeling kind of hopeless. Once I finally accepted her offer of help, she immediately brought me the best bra I'd tried the entire time. Eventually I left with three, all great. THANK YOU SAHARA

Treat yourself. Really go shopping!
UPDATED 7/24: Undeniably one of the finest stores in Greater Milwaukee, the store has not kept the magic of Nordstrom's alive. Poor MKE, first Marshall Field's closes, Macy's comes in and if close, the rival Boston Store a staple of the city elegant but not fancy is no more. It's difficult for brick and mortar retail everywhere, but a consistent investment in service and on-hand products will stand out above all others.

Shut the doors to shoppers at 7:30 pm. Funny thing is, the store says they are open until 8.

I went to Nordstrom to look for a special occasion dress. There were NO employees to be found. After 20 minutes I saw someone carrying kids clothes and asked if they had a special section for plus size as I wear a size 20. He said there was someone by the fitting rooms who could help. I went to the fitting rooms and there was no one. He called his manager and another 10 mins later someone came up and just looked at me. I said hi I’m looking for a size 20 special occasion dress do you have a section for plus size? She said no they’re all mixed in. I said ok, well do you happen to know if you have any 20’s in stock there are 100s of dresses here…. She said no we don’t have the space for each dress to be in several sizes. You’d be better off going to Chicago. We live in Green Bay mind you and were here for a dance recital. Needless to say we left with no dress. Poor customer service!

I went there to eat at the restaurant because they have excellent food. To find out the restaurant has closed. So sad.

I visited the cosmetics department a few months ago and had a really great experience, probably for the first time ever when buying makeup. There was a makeup artist there named Michael, and he was very attentive, and kind, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable, and not pushy at all, like other salespeople are. He did an amazing job picking the right makeup for me and didn't rush me at all in making a decision. I have to say, I walked through that whole store and not one person approached me. Not only did he approach me, but gave me an experience that made me feel valued. I'm giving the store as a whole a low rating due to their overall customer service, but I give Michael 5 stars. Sadly, I learned he's not there anymore, which is a huge loss for Nordstrom. The quality has gone way down in cosmetics since.

After years of ordering items from Nordstrom, I consistently enjoy perusing the online catalog, as well as passing through the discounted items in preparation for a spur-of-the moment family gathering.
I am grateful today for how the alterations service works to improve my clothing’s fit and finish.
Asking about my name, the experienced and dedicated seamstress provides personal attention to detail and also takes care of clothes that haven’t been purchased at Nordstrom.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me and guided me through the payment process.
I hope that alterations service continues to succeed even though the store’s foot traffic has diverted to online sources.
