I placed an order at 1:15pm for pick up between 5-6pm today (Sun 4/7/24). I received order confirmation email and text. Then I received an email at 2:12pm saying order would be ready for pick up between 5-6pm.At 4:17pm, I got a call saying due to overwhelming orders my order wouldn't be ready as scheduled. I was given option to wait for email saying it's ready or change to pick up tomorrow. I chose to pick up tomorrow.At 6:59pm I got another call saying that they couldn't take any more orders (huh? you've had my order for 7+ hours) and they were cancelling it. I asked why because I said earlier I was fine with pick up tomorrow. She told me her manager told her to cancel all orders.Now, I'm on perma-hold trying to get someone to answer the phone at their local store phone number or the 800. WTH, Metro Market?!?

I used to work here but I quit showing up for work. This location has rats, they live underneath the first island with a hot food. There's a drain under there that connects to different pipes that run throughout the entire building. They also come through the loading dock holes that have the chains to lift or lower.They also live underneath the last meat bunker where there's a black stand with tortillas, they go behind the tortillas and make their way in. This problem existed from the day I started to when I left (2yr). That's all.

Was in the store at the checkout.. cashier rang up my groceries then picked up her phone when I asked her if she was going to bag my groceries she pointed to the bags for me to do it .. she said I’m not a bagger.. I then told her that I don’t work here after her going back and forth with me.. she bagged my groceries I then told her now you can get on the phone .. she told me no I can always be on the phone.. rude and unacceptable.. would have given no stars if allowed

Lazy workers. I ask if they have paper bags when I'm in the self checkout. The attendant said no, so I walked to the checkout lane and got paper bags. The store is never stocked up and products in wrong areas several times. I had an item ring up wrong and I was told, oh you have to clip the coupon before you check out. No attempt to correct the price. Wrong price again. No coupon they just have .87 for Mayonnaise and it rang up $5.99. Big difference. I'm fed up with wrong prices

This location on state Street has gone down hill. The employees are unknowledgeable, in every area. The employees constantly standing around TEXING ON CELLPHONES... need help you have to try and get a manager who is nowhere to be found. Need to do better ?

Embarrassing. Sunday afternoon, 2 lines open. Self-checkout lines all backed up at least 8 deep. Associates sitting around texting on their phones while customers struggle. No sense of customer service. Terrible experience, no one who works there seems to care at all.

Horrible customer service, cashiers are so freaking rude get some new ones that actually value the job or has good work ethics. Lines are always long please get it together

Always have long lines usually 1 single register open and then the self checkouts. Every time you use the self checkout something goes wrong with it and u have to sit there and call for an employee to come help. When u ask for help the worker who is supposed to help at self checkout just sits there until u practically yell out can u come help. Then they look at you without saying a word and act like you are an inconvenience. I'm pretty sure that is your only job do you even do anything? What are you being payed for? Teach your workers customer service please and thankyou go a long way I wouldn't mind waiting forever in line if the workers actually had manners.

During the dead hours every self checkout is open and during busy hours only one side is open, causing a line going to the back of the alcohol aisle.

Rude and nasty cashier named Leslie told me I had to bag my "damn groceries". I told her I wasn't rushing her that I was fine waiting. She insisted that they were my groceries and I should be bagging it. I replied that I was not an employee. She said that she was not my maid and didn't have to bag the groceries. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would have gone to the self checkout. Long story short. I spoke with the store manager about the incident, but don't think it will be addressed. By looking at other reviews this seems to be the norm there now.

i like the sushi from here and the man thats worked in the meat department forever is nice. and the bagger kevin has always been a friendly face. has gotten kinda trashy over the years otherwise
