“Absolutely excellent fresh meat market. They have a wide variety of frozen products that generally aren’t available other places. They also have sausages, a very small selection of vegetables if you’ve forgotten something from the grocery store, a few isles of regular food-stuff, and a prepared food counter. They will bend over backwards to make you happy. That being said, their prices are very high; you are paying for a premium food experience.”
“You guys are great... Just wish more places will serve your products... Because I have to travel a distance just to purchase it... Also, wish their was a way I could re-try your hog head cheese with the super vinegar taste... I could tell you guys cur back on the vinegar ... But Amazing Job on your Hog head cheese... “This place is just awesome. Everything I have tried from there has been great. We live in MN, and we come to town. We always fill a cooler and bring it back north with us. Even the chicken burgers are juicy and flavorful. The use of chicken thighs removes that chicken flavor that reminds you that you are eating a chicken burger. This place is a hidden gem, and the owner is super easy to work with and always a pleasure to speak with.”
“Ok, so we have had Italian sausages from every single "fantastic" deli/shop/store in the area for the last 20 years and Rupenas is the BEST as far as Italian sausages go. Absolutely blows Gloriosos, Ray's, Sendiks, Karl's, and Robert's away. And do not miss their turmeric famous chicken breasts either. So glad we stopped by, it was a staple in the family 25 years ago as our extended family ordered this food often but once Aunt Susie died we never had it anymore. We make the trek from the west side of Waukesha now often but it's ok, we LOVE it!!”
“I am a vegetarian, but I always go to Buddy's to get special occasion steaks for my husband. They have excellent customer service - they're so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband said the butcher selected "the most succulent and well marbled bone-in ribeye". Would definitely recommend!”
“The best polish in Milwaukee hands down.I travel from Indiana to Milwaukee to visit family.....I call the deli up put my order in and pick up on the way home....they will even pack for travel.i still remember running from my parents house up there to pick up polish every week.Picture below is polish when smoked in my smoker the most delicious way to compliment this polish sausage ?”

“I’ve been coming here for over 15 years, they have recently expanded and offer a great menu. The best option for Middle Eastern food in MKE. The shawarma platter is my go to, and they also make amazing party platters that we have used for parties at home. Great place!”

I’m grateful to recognize Eric’s attentive and professional approach, making sure to greet each guest and take care of those who haven’t been helped.
Eric is motivated to serve and moves interaction forward respectfully and with an interest in suggesting products to best fit the customer’s tastes, as he enjoys food preparation and has cooked a majority of the hearty protein selections.
Very friendly and conversational, he reassured me through the payment process that sometimes the card reader doesn’t respond.

“UPDATE 1/19: Owner/Manager responded and took care of the problem. Called 12/19 for a prime rib order pickup on 12/22. Illness caused plans to change, so I called morning of 12/22 to cancel and I asked about deposit refund/policy. I was told then that "they had a system for this" and they would keep my name in the back office so I could use that $25 for a future order. At this moment, had I been told differently, I may have kept the order and frozen it or grabbed something else. My brother was even considering grabbing it, but since I had the $25 to use later, I figured we could just keep that there for NY/St. Pats, etc. I then called back 1/5 and 1/6 and was told the policy is actually "no refunds, no credits on Christmas orders". The woman I spoke to was polite and apologetic but I was told two different things and the end result is I'm out $25 where I don't think I should be. I should either have that back or a frozen rib in my freezer. Wish I could comment on the meat/service.”
“I bought a box of brats, mortabela wurst and Yacht wurst, German summer sausage and Genoa sausage and bologna and liver wurst. Very happy with all of the purchase especially the bologna. Smells and taste good. Obvious quality product. Very good Milwaukee German soul food. Brought back some happy memories from time past. Made me nostalgic for a Pabst or Schlitz beer.?”
“Great spot to pick up several cuts of meats, sauces, beverages and other items to make a delicious meal. Great prices, and the customer service is on point, very polite!Please do not leave here without the honey bbq beef sticks, and some beef jerky. I plan on being a returning customer as long as I am in the area. Parking is plentiful and location holds cleanliness to a very high standard.”

“I had 2 deer done at bunzels this year. De-boned & vacuum sealed the meat up north. Froze it right away then brought it to Bunzels a day later. I got 120 pounds of brats, polish, steaks, jerky, hot dogs, cheddar jalapeño stix, cheddar jalapeño brats, summer sausage, etc.Very happy with Bunzels. They finished my deer in under a week. Could I get my deer processed up north for a little less? Yes but I’d also lose 6 hours driving to get it and gas money. Cost evens out. I’ll always get my deer done at Bunzels”

“They sell these scones there called power scones. The ingredients are almonds oats flaxseeds raisins dried cranberries, it's really delicious and filling. Next time I go I have to get a picture lol”
