Dr. Curtiss and her assistants are amazing. While getting injections her voice and her medical assistants voices are so calm and soothing and make getting injections a lot more easier and relaxing. Everyone is so kind and understanding and THEY LISTEN. I’ve never had an issue with anyone or anything at Froedtert. They are the BEST! I definitely recommend!

They're great but expect to be on the bottom of the priority list if you have state insurance

I am grateful for the help I have received at this clinic. Dr. Padden helped me find a solution to managing a problem that has been impacting me for many years. I have always been impressed with how reasonable the wait times have been at this clinic (especially considering the population density of the surrounding area), and they have worked well with me and my insurance (I wish I could say that my insurance has worked well with them, but that would not be true -sometimes my insurance can be pretty unreasonable, and I hope to find a better plan when I can-).

If I could give it zero I would. Not necessarily on the end of the facility, but disastrously unsafe. I say not necessarily because it's the unruly patients who have no regard for human decency, yet every other establishment I've been to, there has been security on the premises to deal with these rude and dangerous individuals, yet at this location they are nowhere to be found, leaving the severely understaffed medical professionals to be constantly berated with hateful speech as well as verbal and physical threats. Once in a blue moon someone with dignity and respect for others will come in and give the staff the acknowledgement they deserve, and outside of that rare silver lining, the staff members are forced to sit there and be harassed every which way, all the while doing their best to keep a smile on their face. This review is in no way a reflection of them. This is a reflection of whomever is in charge of this locations up keep. They are either horrendously misinformed, or comfortably ignorant of the fact that they are in an industry that pledges to help people in any way available, yet instead their responsibilities, or lack thereof, are no doubt slowly adding to the mental health crisis that's destroying this country. I have no dog in this race; I simply care for others, and stand up for what's right when I see something wrong. They need to be properly staffed. From what I've seen just in the few times I've been in there, they need ARMED security in house for every second of business hours. The few employees that work there seem to be going through hell every time I've been through there, and yet they are always cordial and have a smile on their face. If these reviews were for the staff specifically, it would be five stars. But it's for the facility and it's operation as a whole, and if no stars were an option, that's where I'd land. Protect your team members. This is supposed to be a HEALTH and WELLNESS facility. Could've fooled me. And if anyone from the company sees this and are able to view my Google account information, by all means, contact me. I would love to talk. I am not here to bash a company. I'm here to aid in people doing the right thing, and making changes for the better.

I would give zero stars if I could. Called for a new patient appointment. The receptionist asked for my marital status, religion, and race over the phone! I ended the conversation because why are any of these things relevant especially the race question? Seeing other reviews mentioning racial profiling is confirmation for me.

SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT!
I tried both through the website and over the phone and it didn't work! ABSURD!

I scheduled an appointment for a specific request with a healthcare provider. Upon arrival, I got all the way through check-in and triage with the Medical Assistant, before the Medical Assistant said "oh and I'm sorry NP can't address this with you today, they called you, right?" And the scheduling team had not contacted me to tell me. The Medical Assistant confirmed that the schedulers had been in my appointment notes (which specifically calls out what I was coming in for) and they still did not contact me, even with awareness of the conflict. The Medical Assistant did everything she could to reschedule me with another provider to address my concern, they were very helpful and made recommendations. However, my experience with the NP could have been better. She was aware she couldn't help me and did apologize, but seemed like she was flying through the appt because she knew she couldn't help. She would ask questions and I would try to answer but I couldn't finish my sentence before she was already either talking over me to repeat what I had said, or moved on to ask the next question. I realize I may not have been in the best mood because of the circumstances, but I was providing her with all the context she would need to treat me and tried to go in detail but it seemed like she was ready to move on to the next patient. She did step out to check on my scheduling options for my original request, and sent the Medical Assistant back in instead and never returned. I didn't really feel cared for.

The time I spent here for psychiatry and medication management has been a waste of time felt strung along, misunderstood, and dissatisfied with care. Reports of side effects were dismissed. Consultation of care with other doctors from assigned psychiatrist during appointments felt longer each time. Not my idealistic approach to psychiatry care. (Or anyone’s)

On it's face, this may sound ubsurd and unlikely, but I respectfully believe that my Mother was put to death today at the hand of a Senior Doctor while my Mom was in the MICU 6th floor, room 14 at the Froederdt Health Center in Wauwatosa. My Mother was transferred to this location 5 days ago and was on life support. I am her legal POA and her wishes were clearly to do all possible to keep her alive, including chest compressions if it were to come me to that.Against her wishes, this doctor ordered life support machines to be turned-off by a nurse around 2:45 pm. I saw my moms heart machine numbers start dropping quickly. I nearly-begged him to turn the machine back on. He would not listen and minutes later, as I held her hand, she was dead. This was this Doctor's very first day on this case. I was in the process of having St. Lukes give a possible transfer and this doctor seemed bothered in even considering cooperation on the matter.I have intentions of taking this matter further and suggest that we begin an initial dialog on this soon.I can be reached as your charting will show my contact information on your patient Bette Hignite.Sincerely,Tom Hignite

My mother was racially profiled while taking a drug test here, TODAY. She came for a routine drug test for a new job. The WHITE lady who was doing the test asked her to remove her head wrap. My mother asked why, because she wears head wraps all the time and has NEVER been asked to remove one EVER. My mother slid it up, so she could see her hair, much to her oblige. She then told the lady that couldn’t be in the policy, since that goes against a person’s religion, etc. My mother took the test, no fake pee, the water was off so she obviously pee’d in the toilet. The lady did the test and argued back to her that she wasn’t being racist, but she was. She judged her because she was BLACK. She needs to be fired, she even caused a disruption in the clinic because of it. A young black girl with box braids working had to come up to the front and ask if everything was okay. My mother even proposed that she call her boss or show her where in the rules that says she has to show her hair or take off her head wrap. She shouldn’t even be working because if she was so SMART, then she would know that pee has to be a certain temperature in order to pass a drug test ALSO. Maybe you guys shouldn’t have such vile, racist scum working at a clinic where people of all races come to pass drug tests. This could’ve all been routine and breezy. It’s people like her that make the world harder than what it has too for us beautiful black people. Do better. Hire BETTER.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!! STAY AWAY!!!I went there for my annual checkup which is covered by my insurance. I never paid for my annual checkup in any other hospital ever because my insurance pays for it.Unfortunately, last year I chose Froedtert for my annual checkup. They took my insurance details etc. but at the end sent my lab tests to a lab which is out of network for my insurance, even if there are so many in-network labs. I clearly told at the reception that I have insurance which covers everything for my annual checkup, unless something unusual comes up during the checkup. If they were not going to owner my insurance, why would they even ask for it? Was I informed that my blood samples will be sent to out-of-network lab? No.The patient has no control over that decision. Please do not go to this hospital, they will not even consider your insurance and then send you a bill of few hundred dollars. The customer service is so bad that I have not yet received a reason or explanation of my bill even after 20+ calls and 10+ emails / messages.

The spine care clinic is clean, and the staff is understanding and professional. All my appointments have been on time or taken early. Very pleased with the care and service provided.
