“I’m a CFO for a small business service company, and I began using Joyce Yarid CPA, Tax Advisory Group for my tax services after my wife and I purchased a rental property 5 years ago.I wanted to minimize my risk of error in the tax return reporting of the rental property. Joyce’s business is to know the tax laws and to apply them to provide optimal benefit and eliminate error and therefore audit risk. Joyce is of the highest integrity. Joyce cares about my financial success and stability, and she is not afraid to give me her opinion and advice. This frankness, that is Joyce Yarid, can, at times be hard to hear, but it is always sound finance counsel and coming from a professional who truly cares. She cannot allow herself to be “yes-person” and collect her fees to avoid 'hard' financial discussions. I always feel safe sharing my financial situation with her. I highly recommend Joyce for her tax and financial expertise and integrity!”
“I have been working with Matt for several years. In this time, I have found him to be deeply knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, and personable. He is a great asset in my daughter’s care and has made managing my interaction with Capital first a positive experience. I am incredibly happy with Matt and think he is an outstanding individual both professionally and personally.”
“My 401k plans have been with Fidelity since 2001! I like the free reviews they give to ensure you are on track. I've worked with a CFP to make financial moves that fit my situation of retiring soon. Options are explained, and you can determine how you want to work with them: they advise you, they can take the lead on managing your money, etc. I like how they explained options and choices and let me decide.”
“Kathy and Elaina up front were both incredibly helpful. Had paperwork for our accounts we needed assistance with and they helped us from start to finish. All in all made the process easy and set clear expectations on where and who to contact if any issues came up. Will definitely stop in this branch if we need help again!”
“My blood pressure usually rises when I go to the bank... However, with Educators, my blood pressure lowers. Always in and out, with friendly service. Never thought I'd like a bank so much. Highly recommend.”
“Every time I contact this business they are courteous, competent, and customer service oriented. The staff listens rather than talk making them better equipped to service my needs. The problem is that I then expect my interactions with other businesses to be on par and it is rare.”
“Very nice, clean, friendly, genuinely happy to see you and serve you place of business. Extremely professional and beautiful kind hearted staff that are abundantly helpful. Member, Finance Representatives, Shanise and Keyosha big thumbs up. And to all the rest of the staff there Thank you.”
“As a manager, and employee for the last 5 years, working at Scribner, Cohen and Company has been a positive and rewarding experience. The firm prioritizes professional development, offers a supportive work environment, and encourages teamwork and collaboration. It maintains open communication and values work-life balance for all.”
“I have never had a bad experience at this branch, or educators in general. Everyone is always so helpful, knowledgeable, & patient. I have banked with Chase and US Bank in the past and they do not compare to educators. I will always recommend ECU.”
“ECU is amazingly warm welcoming community and although my business with them is limited I appreciate being treated so personally each time I come in to do a simple change exchange. I love this location and the staff deserve the recognition for being such a community help. Happy Holidays to the best!”
“In general credit unions are better than the big three banking conglomerates that control 80% of all North American banking, the ones that tanked our economy in 2008 then rose back to profits by imposing incredible fees and interest charges on the taxpaying customers that bailed them out ....oh my gosh Rohan get a hold of yourself. Okay, in general credit unions and savings and loans are better than the big banks for fees, service, and integrity. Even among credit unions, I find Educators to be better than the others because of the number of branches in the area and the helpful friendly workers. Even among the Educators credit union branches, I find this one to be better because it's roomy, I never have to wait long, parking is easy. As with the other Educators Credit Unions branches there's complimentary coffee. Educators helped me with a bathroom remodel loan, and two car loans. I've had problem free checking and savings accounts for years and they've never crashed my nation's economy.”
“I love my bank, but it's the only bank I know that the lobby isn't open. That makes the wait time in drive through extremely long. You could wait an hour at times. The bank has a lot of good programs though to help people manage their money.”
“I've been going to these guys for the past five years. They answer my questions when I call whether it's tax season or not and always do a great job when I come in to actually have my taxes done. Great business!”
