Great place to get local cheeses, the ladies there were so helpful and knew exactly what to recommend. I was travelling and they helped me pick a good souvenir type cheese and even wrapped it with an ice pack to keep it fresh for the travel.

A must go. From purchasing all types of yummy cheese from all over especially Wisconsin, and a collection of aged and not so aged Wines everything else here will blow your mind. A Charcuterie Establishment that not only entertains parties but also has classes on how to build a Charcuterie Board Party for Family and Friends. The Milk Merchant has many items to build gifts as well. The Staff that I met which was Donna and Stacy were so helpful and knowledgeable on all products in their Beautiful establishment.Wausau needed and needs this type of business and many more to come to bring this little town back to life. I'll say it again, " A Must Go!" Cheers.

When I walk in, I feel immediately the magic of the place. Wonderful cheeses and meats (local and global, with a focus on the artisanal!), cheese boards and boxes, gourmet sweets and treats, brilliant wines and oils, and more, including many services such as catering and classes. Again, a world-class presentation that features many Wisconsin products as well as many items from around the globe! The best of both worlds! And great service too!

One of my new favorites to stop & visit. We picked up some excellent aged cheddar & mozzarella for some homemade pizza. They even had some ‘00 flour and other goodies like spicy honey to go with it.
