I have a 2019 Outback 3.6 Touring (my 3rd and last Outback) It has either a parasitic power drain or malfunctioning controller. I have taken it to 3 dealerships, and none can find the source. I am on my 4th battery in 30 months and have been stranded many times. Every dealership acknowledges knowing about the problem with this model, mentioning the DCM as possible cause.The issue that I asked Kocourek to address was that the valet key never worked, so that with every dead battery, I had to have a locksmith or policeman break into my car.This was not under warrantee, but Mike said he'd see what he could do. Lizz said to come in and she'd make it right.I went in and they did fix it, charging me full price. They also charged me $6.50 for a fob battery I didn't want. Be aware they also charge a fee for using a charge card.So, aside for no follow through on the sweet talk , the service department did fix the problem quickly.I sent an email before posting this, but got no response.Subaru has failed to be responsible for this defect.Kocourek overall service was average.

I absolutely love working with Kocourek Subaru! Always take great care of my car when I bring it in for regular maintenance. They were so easy to work with when I purchased! I’m looking forward to purchasing another with in the next year! ?

Depends who's helping you. I've had a few interesting encounters and many upsets with purchasing my vehicle and getting oil changes done. One time I dropped my brand new crosstrek off just for an oil change and the guy went out to my car walked around it like he was inspecting it then opened and propped up my hood and my hazard lights were on too. It was still like that I noticed when I left as well.

Nick was WONDERFUL in finding us a car!! He was patient and kind the whole time, and found a car that is perfect for us! We definitely recommend him in any car purchases. We did have to sit there for hours to (almost) be told we couldn’t take the car home that day but they worked with us and we still got to bring it home with the condition of bringing it back to officially sign off on it the next weekend which was a bit inconvenient because we live two hours away. Timing just wasn’t great on that! BUT still a great experience overall and we recommend to anyone wanting to buy a car, just get in early so you don’t have to worry about banks closing ? Subarus are amazing!

Took my car in for a quote after asking how much time it would take. It took double and the only reason it wasn’t longer was I stood up for my self. The service staff kept trying to up-charge and lie. I ended up trapped for 2 hours for a 15 minute check while my keys were taken off site with no apology. Waiting room was full of frustrated people there for a long time. Service staff also changed type of service so I wouldn’t get a survey to report her attitude. Please stand up for yourself! No one should be taking your keys or car off site without permission. I called the General Manager and received no call back after a week. They don’t care about their customers experience.

I ordered a 2024 Crosstrek Limited with Kocourek Subaru after having the chance to test drive a 2021 at Kocourek Chevy, as their Subaru location had no vehicles available to test drive when we drove two hours down to look. It should have been a pretty easy sale for them as I did the build online, emailed it to them, and all they had to do was place the order and accept delivery.Unfortunately, the entire process dealing with them was disappointing from start to finish. Communication was poor and many of the order updates I had to reach out to them for or ask about after seeing them on My Subaru. We were finally able to set up a pick-up day 1 ½ weeks after the vehicle was delivered and much of the same poor customer service continued; we waited past our appointment time, the vehicle had tape residue all over it, the plates ended up momentarily misplaced, etc. The saving grace at Kocourek, and for the entire day, was JJ, the delivery specialist. He went over everything in the vehicle and was incredibly funny, kind, and knowledgeable. He managed to boost the mood for the day a bit.While we were waiting at the end of the day to get our plates and leave, Luke, the sales manager, approached us with a piece of paper talking about how they hoped they provided excellent customer service and to contact them if they didn’t. We explained to him how disappointed we were with everything we experienced, he asked how they could make it right, and offered that we could go out for a nice dinner and send him the bill. We immediately declined that offer and quite frankly found it rather absurd and insulting. We just recommended that maybe in the future when they have a customer who has ordered something and is a guaranteed sale that they give them the same customer service a purchaser who they are still trying to make a sale to gets.I would not recommend Kocourek Subaru to anyone I know, and if I would have known things would have played out this way, I would have purchased from one of the other Subaru dealerships that would have only been a 30 minute further drive for us than Kocourek was. The only reason I am giving two stars versus one is solely because of JJ.

A HUGE thank you to George and David in the service department. I was having car troubles, got a quote, and vehicle was ready the next day. I cannot say enough good things about the experiences I have had with this dealership. Awesome communication, attention to detail, and reasonable pricing. If you are in need of service on your Subaru, this is the place to go. Thank you Kocourek Subaru! You're the best!

Our long-time Service Advisor, George Hlad has once again cared for us in ways that are above and beyond. I had a medical procedure scheduled and we were allowed a loaner car to help us coordinate the car and medical appointments. We greatly appreciate George's caring attitude and the way he takes care of business on all fronts. You need to hire more folks like him or try and clone him!

Knowledgeable staff and large waiting area, however there are 2 areas of improvement at Kocourek Subaru, the first one is do not have a television playing and a Radio playing at the same time, there was a TV on in the waiting area and a radio on high volume in the hallway. (Please choose only one form of listening device for your waiting customers, having 2 playing at the same time gives a person a headache) Item number 2 and most important, a dealership is the most expensive place a person can bring their car to be repaired, if so, then why do you have a surcharge/extra charge for customers when they decide to pay with a credit card? I was very surprised and disappointed when this charge was added to my transaction at check out.

Maybe they do a good job selling cars- but avoid this place for parts and service. I thought I lost my only keys, so I called and talked to Chucky in the parts dept thinking I could get a key made quickly(I was locked out of my vehicle as well). They didn't have any keys in-house, so he told me it would be "a day" -they needed to order my key- after talking to him for a few minutes (I was skeptical based on his general lack of knowledge). So I paid in advance (after I specifically asked him if this was for key&programming) he said yes, and once the key came in I'd just have to talk to service dept and get it done. I IMPRESSED upon him the importance of the key and told him to call me when it got in or if anything changed. It took 5 days. No phone call letting me know. Luckily- on the second day my wife found my original set of keys. I couldn't cancel the key order since it was a custom job, so I made an appointment to get it programmed. Only to find out the service dept was going to charge me 75$ for the key programming. If you like being made to wait, lied to, and overcharged this is the place to go. Otherwise AVOID this place at all costs! Take your subaru to Appleton or Eau Claire.

Recently ordered/purchased a 2024 Crosstrek through JJ! Hands down the best experience ever! Between the ordering, getting updates on the car, and picking up the car, JJ was in constant communication along the way! And he made sure I understood everything about the car before I left with it! I highly recommend working JJ!!

We purchased our 2019 Crosstrek new from another area dealer.Recently we found it was in need of some significant maintenance including a wheel bearing and the selling dealer could not get it in until mid-May. I then decided to try Kocourek.Kocourek got our Crosstrek in within a few days of calling and performed all the needed maintenance in a timely manner.The staff is very helpful and kept me informed about the work being done while I waited.I will definitely be going back to Kocourek for future service.
