On Monday, December 11th, I went into Kay Jewelers to exchange a necklace I had previously purchased for a nicer one. There was a difference to pay from the exchange so I put my card in to pay. On the first attempt, I had a short conversation with the sales associate/manager which distracted her and caused the transaction to time out. I was asked to try inserting my card again so I did. I was then told that if there was a double charge, the first one would be dropped. Well, fast forward to Wednesday, December 13th and both of the pending charges from the single transaction both turned to posted charges. I immediately called Jody F., their manager, and informed her of my situation. I even went in to show her my bank statement. With this, she called the accounting or some other department within Kays and explained the situation. They gave her a customer service email to give to me so I could send them proof of the double charge to my account with screenshots from my bank statements (because they only see one charge on their end). Anyways, it is now January 3rd and I still have not received my refund. I've had several phone calls with Jody, sent proof of my double charge, and called the customer service line with my case # and still no progress. I feel like I've been incredibly patient throughout this process, and I would argue that Jody has also been very understanding and helpful throughout this process. However, I'm still absolutely dumbfounded as to why Kay Jewelers is taking so long to refund my small amount of $75.96 when I have hard proof that I was erroneously charged twice. To add salt to the wound, I've literally purchased every piece of jewelry that I've gifted to my significant other from Kay Jewelers, so for me to be ignored like this is really frustrating.

They were able repair my ring quickly and for an affordable price. All the service agents I worked with were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended them for your jewelry repair needs.

I would NOT recommend this store. If there was an option for zero stars I would’ve selected it. I went in for a warranty check and cleaning for my engagement ring, and not even one of the 3 employees acknowledged I was in the store. Two of the women were helping other people, so I stood at the desk in hopes the woman on the phone would help me. After she hung up the phone she continued doing busy work and refused to acknowledge I was standing there waiting. When the two other customers left I figured the employees would then help me. They did not. I stood there for another 2 minutes before storming out. Horrible customer service. I will never go back.

Had a small situation this last weekend which turned out to be a complete mis-communication on both sides. Jodi wasted no time in calling me after my initial review and we were able to figure it out. Very happy and I feel that both Jodi and Mauritza (sp) are fabulous and I’m soooo glad I will be picking up the ring this weekend!!!

Von Gagas was very professional and helpful. Her customer service skills are 10/10. She was kind, patient, and very understanding. We found the perfect ring for my sister and the earrings are absolutely gorgeous. We will 100% be purchasing all of our jewelry from Kays going forward. AS FOR MY SISTER…SHE SAID YES!!!

We have been clients of the Wausau store since 1998 and have always been treated very well. Each time my husband buys a piece of jewelry for me or I have my pieces checked everyone is always happy to help. Jody is the best!

I asked to have my rings polished so they would look nice at my husband's funeral. I didn't think to mention that we bought them there. Both women were sitting on their butts when I walked in she took about 15 seconds for two wedding ring sets in a man's ring with diamonds in it and seriously they don't look any different than when I brought him in. I could have done better with a toothbrush but you know I figured I'd make them a little extra nice for the funeral. No, those are not shadows, that is actual dirt and that is why I wanted to have them cleaned! What a shame I'll never buy another thing from them as long as I live and neither will my husband he's obviously already gone.

My recent experience with the Wausau store was anything but pleasant. An associate was swearing at me on the phone and Jody, the store manager didn’t seem to care either. I’ve spent a fair amount of money with Kay’s but will be taking my business elsewhere and filing a formal complaint with the better business bureau! Very disappointed!

DO NOT GET CREDIT through these people!!! They will add crazy amounts of money to your account after a year calling it deferred interest, because they give you a year to pay it off, which I was not told before hand. Their customer service rep has ZERO empathy for their customers! If you’re late a day you get a 40$ charge. Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with! Apparently askin the supervisor how would she feel if someone she loves ends up with this same issue is inappropriate. I truly hope it happens. I will never purchase any jewelry from this company again over this!I paid my bill down from 1700$ to 840$ by making double even triple payments. They added 500$I hope you all go out of business ?
