Do NOT rely on the HD website if you are looking for specific items in this store. The staff doesn't understand the stocking system the chain uses or doesn't want to use it. There is no way of knowing if they have what you want.

Ordered a toilet a month and a half ago, have called the store 3 different times and no one can tell me where it is ? it’s like, kinda important that I get my toilet!

Store is filled with incompetent staff. Our family has in acceptable amount of conversations regarding a snow blower we purchased from this store. We bought it around some special in the winter months, it did not snow in Wausau. When it did snow the snow blower did not function properly. We brought it in and at first Home Depot staff turned us away, I refused that and a manager worked with us and said of course we can send it in under warranty to 3rd party repair center. A $2

manager named Shawn is the most difficult person I've ever dealt with with no reasoning behind his so called procedures. Ignored me completely the first time while he told store associate to tell me there was nothing he could do for me as he could have looked me in the eye and told me.( Stood 3 ft from me) took my parents snow blower, lost it I'm tranost and now refuses to give me full refund including the service fee. it's been almost 4 months and now middle of summer. very difficult and unprofessional and I hope that the storeamager Cole can call me back and help resolve this issue.

I am leaving the store this morning, beyond impressed. Cole spent an hour completing my need, when no one else in the Wausau area had even considered helping me with my Schlague locks. He absolutely went above and beyond. There is a reason why this store previously won my business for all new kitchen appliances, and new carpeting. Cole and Wausau Home Depot - thank you.

I've always thought the smaller local hardware stores were better for customer service but lately Grebes hardware customer service has really declined. They no longer care about customers. My recent experience at Home Depot Garden center was top notch. The young lady that helped me with purchasing my cub cadet bagger couldn't have been more helpful. She was obviously very busy but gave me her full attention and did all she could to help with my purchase from locating it in the store all the way to loading it into my car! Home Depot, my new "go-to" store

Horrible service. I ordered carpet 2 weeks ago to be installed. I was told that install would be 2-3 weeks after carpet came in. The carpet came to the warehouse on 7/18/20 and the installer told me the soonest would be 9/22/20 install date. The associate and manager had no solutions and only offered excuses for the delay. I asked if they could find another installer and I was told no. I asked if they would reimburse me to find an installer and they said no. I will never shop at home depot again and I used to love the store.

I placed an online order for store pickup of a lawn trimmer - there were 4 in stock when I placed my order, per online. After 4 hours (almost) I hadn't received my email that it was ready for pickup, but I was out doing my shopping and figured it would be easy enough to pop in and get it. It was just a weed whacked. Well, it was in the process of being fulfilled, per the woman at customer service. I had gone to look at some accessories for my whacked and knew there were none on the sales floor. I asked the woman if she could contact the person who was fulfilling the order because there were none on the shelf and if they were in fact out, I would cancel and make my purchase elsewhere. This seemed to fluster her. Another woman came over and asked the first CSR if she was helping me and she kinda shrugged. I explained that I hope she was helping me otherwise I was standing there for nothing. After explaining that I ordered a few hours before and there were 4 in stock online, but nothing on the shelf currently, the second CSR's response was "yeah, that's the problem with ordering a line". This is NOT where the great customer service comes in. I was preparing to become Karen, when who I believe is the assistant manager, (this gentleman had been standing in customer service and heard most of my exchanges, I believe), cane walking up with with a package that contained my weed whacked and a leaf blower. $30 more than the product I had paid for. He simply said, "it shows there are still 2 percent n stock and obviously we don't have any. This has what you ordered so we'll give you this" - paraphrased a bit. I thanked him and told him I appreciated the very good customer service. So, hope the 2 CARs weren't great, the gentleman was and gets my 5 review. Thanks, Home Depot, for having such awesome management at the Wausau store.

I placed an order online 04/02/20. I spent $1500 on a vanity and sink and 2 corner cabinets for a bathroom remodel. I selected the ship to store option because according to their site I could get it 3 days sooner then shipping it to my door even though shipping was free no matter which option I choose. Order was supposed to be there in 2 shipments. The corner cabinets were to arrive on 04/12/20. They arrived 4/14/20. No big deal. The sink and vanity was to arrive on 04/14/20.
