I paid $85 for them to open my inoperable MacBook (no power at all). Tell me they didn’t see any water damage-they’re leaning towards battery issue. But that I would have to give them another $20 to send it off to Apple to fix.I really don’t understand why they didn’t just tell me from the start that they wouldn’t be able to fix it no matter what was wrong with it, and I could save $100 by taking it to Apple myself? To add on to this wonderful experience, they stated Apple quoted $800+ to fix it. How can Apple quote ANYTHING if no one can even tell me what’s wrong with it yet?! It’s apparent they aren’t an Apple “hardware” repair service. So definitely don’t bother going here if that’s your issue. You’re better off driving to the Apple Store in Madison to have them diagnose it for free.Otherwise the service was fine. The young man who helped me in store, and the woman on the phone were friendly enough. I just wish they were more upfront about what they could and couldn’t repair vs what they’d have to send out to Apple instead of cash grabbing at least $85 from every customer who walked in the door.

Went to get my space bar fixed and they told me I’d have to get a new computer. Said it’d be cheaper than repairing it. Was very disappointed they weren’t helpful.

Years ago I went to here for help with fixing my MacBook Pro. It was before I had internet or a smartphone and I couldn’t post a review at the time so I’m doing it now. My MacBook was doing this thing where it would shut off randomly. I took it here and they plugged it in for a diagnosis. They didn’t find anything and they charged me $80 fo the diagnosis. I took it to the Genius Bar at Apple and they diagnosed it for free as a failing graphics card and sure enough, a half year later the graphics card quit. NEVER take your Mac here for diagnosing. If you live in Wausau it’s worth avoiding the fee and driving down to the Genius Bar at the Apple store in Madison.*Reply. In answer to your reply, you mentioned nothing about the $80 service fee, I had no issue with anything else you did or didn’t do. What I had issue with is the whopping $80 fee. If you don’t find anything in a diagnostics test, it would make sense to either it be free or maybe a small service charge. Anything to build customer trust and appreciation man. Take a hint from Apple. But whatever, it’s your business, just know that I will NEVER be back for service.

We visited HappyMac yesterday and met with Hil Omernik. He was knowledgeable, helpful and very patient with us- we are not very tech savvy. He spent a lot of time with us, answering our questions but did not put heavy pressure on us to buy specific products. He went above and beyond to help us resolve issues with our iMac. Thank you Hil for your excellent service!

I can't believe I'm giving them any more of my time, but here we go... Never going back.Absolutely disgusted.I read Google policies and I am aware this is public.So... Anyone and everyone has my email and name. That should say enough.

I made an appointment to upgrade my phone. There was a little mix up with appointment times, but Brian multitasked like crazy and got all of us taken care of. The only place I would go to buy a phone, iPad, computer etc. Their prices are good and the service is excellent. Thanks, Brian and Happy Mac.

All of the staff is wonderful to work with! You're treated in a personable way, and not just like a “you're in and you're out as soon as possible†customer. They're friendly, are happy to answer any questions, and overall a visit creates a great experience! Hil, Curtis, and Brian were all awesome, too. Highly recommend!

We recommend Happy Mac for computer issues. We had a crashed laptop and they were able to successfully transfer all our data from the old laptop to a different laptop. Hil was exceptionally accommodating.
