“This is my favorite gas station in Wausau, I drive a little out of the way to go there. they’re the only place that carries the tobacco products I like and they have the best bags of ice in town and it’s cheap too! I’m picky and every other gas station’s bags of ice SUCKS like it’s super old or just not frozen right. Theirs are great, truly lol? The staff are really awesome too”
“Its where I get my meds from it was so convenient when they stayed open 24/7 at the Bridge Street location along with the lack of security it was a shoplifters place to be. They could have went on to making money by utilizing there drive up window for after hours just for online orders but that's just me and that idea is the only one that I give away for free the next one Walgreens will be paying me”

“Stopped in to get some gas, had some issues with the app on my phone. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and showed me that I can get $2 off twice a month. This guys attitude is amazing, makes it very welcoming. He even went outside to help an elderly person when I was there. Not sure of his name but he has red hair. Thank you sir!!!!”

For what it is, it's a solid functional gas station and convenience store, and while the selection inside could be a little wider, at least they are always stocked so no real complaint there. “This is a review for the Penske Truck Rental that runs through this location. They were able to hook me up with 48 hours notice to a truck with a lift gate. Very professional. And the location is much better setup to handle larger Trucks Than a lot of independent rental pickups have been for me. This includes the fill up when you drop it off. You literally Drive by The Filling Station when you park it to drop it off.”

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP LAST NIGHT AND TODAY!!!
For a little background-- I drove my dog 1.5 hours away to PAW health network's ER last night. I didn't want to pay the $208 that they were trying to charge me for his Amoxi-Clav, so I got the prescription filled at Walgreens.
(If possible, always get your prescriptions filled at a regular pharmacy--not the vet's office; it'll be so much cheaper!)
Anyway, I would have just gotten "a few days worth" of pills from the vet (to get my dog started on the antibiotics right away), and had the vet write a Rx for the rest (so I could get the rest cheaply online, or from a local pharmacy)... but PAW Health would not "split" the prescription like this. (I have never had a problem doing this with any other vet in the past.)
So... if I wanted my dog to start his antibiotics right away (at 9pm on a Friday night)... I could have either 1) paid $208 for the antibiotics at PAW, or 2) get a late night prescription filled at this Walgreens location, and only pay $47! I chose the latter.
My problem? PAW Health Network "abbreviated" the prescription (for lack of a better term), and it created MASS CONFUSION between myself, the vet, and the pharmacy -- to the point where I, and multiple pharmacists, (here in Wausau, and where I live) thought my dog was getting the wrong amount of pills necessary.
Pharmacist Fame took every single one of my calls, and the vets calls (maybe 8-10 in total?), with such patience... and knowledge... and clarity... and answered my questions without any sort of rushing, or "brushing off"... that I needed to write this review.
In the end, it was a miscommunication/abbreviation error on the end of the vet, but I did, indeed, leave Walgreens with the correct dosage. Thank you Pharmacist Fame!!!
Final Note: My husband has had masssssive problems/delays/inability to contact (at) the Walgreens Pharmacy where we live, so Fame was a breath of fresh air :)”

“This pharmacy is the best in Wausau. Any issues, questions, or concerns are always addressed promptly. Their communication regarding prescriptions is excellent. The longest I've ever waited in the drive-thru is about five minutes, which is much shorter than other Walgreens in the area.
Today, I had an issue with my prescription pickup due to my own misunderstanding and misreading of dates. The pharmacist (whose name I unfortunately didn't get, but this was on 05/13/24) was calm and gracious. Despite not being able to resolve the issue directly, she took the time to discuss it with me, listen, and find a solution that worked. You don't often see that level of care these days. I really appreciate it!”
“Derek! The only one I will ever go to from this point on! My medication is difficult. Time sensitive, insurance nightmare, costly without the insurance, just plain difficult.
I just recently moved to the area and had to obviously transfer my scripts to up here. I went without my meds for about a month because the insurance, doctor, and pharmacy could not get it all together.
This young man Derek, looked into my account, remembered a conversation from like, 3 weeks prior, and dug to find me solutions. After about 45 minutes, we finally had some options. He found a coupon that would bring my $900 prescription without insurance down to less than $100. We proceed with that option and the next month I had some more obstacles. He handled them flawlessly and I had my scripts through my normal insurance by the end of the day. I hope he knows how much I appreciate all of his help!”
