  I'd give them a negative Star if I could:A longtime holder of a BP gas card, I made it a point to fuel at the Merrill Ave, Wausau WI location. It is out of my way but the lowest prices in town are worthy of the trip. My loyalty extended to fueling there even if the price was not the lowest, A sign of appreciative patronage.Tonight, Thursday 12/29, I stopped by after shopping at the nearby Fleet Farm. AS the internet was not working there the BP app was unavailable to use. So I inserted my BP credit card and the machine held onto it, the lock icon lit up. After trying a few options on the touch screen of the pump (which was slow to respond to that process ) I went inside & stood in line behind 2 men. ***Make a note of this...I did not barge up to the front & demand satisfaction..I waited in line****After the short woman was done with them, I politely told her my card was grabbed onto by the card reader & would not let it go. She said well, you keep pressing pay inside & my register dings every time you did that.(which was aprapos of nothing going on at the time). Go outside & just give it a second. "So I went back outside, and nope, the reader still had the lock icon lit up & still had firm hold of my card.I went back inside & told her that my card was still stuck. She replied, "Well, you don't have to be a genius. You got to push it in then pull it out". I was much taken aback & said, "You did not tell me that the first time" referring to the fact I needed to push it in further before removing it. She tossed off another rude , belittling phrase. I stopped on my way out and replied," You know, maybe you should find a different job where you don't have to deal with customers & be nice to them". I went back out, pushed my card in then removed it. I trying to successfully complete my purchase for fuel, there was a wait then my card declined. I found this odd, especially after I drove to the North Mountain Road BP and it worked JUST fine there. So I wonder if her frumpy, dumpy little self did that to further annoy me.I'm done with rude people. I deal with them everyday & have no patience with those that don't even make the attempt

I also attached my most recent BP credit card statement so you can see how much I have bought fuel at that store. I'm done with rude people.   Always greeted with a smile by the young man with goatee it's always good to see someone that cares about their job and the customers that come in to their store keep up the great job.

  Here's how the conversation went with the cashier..Me: hey how's it goingHim: good.Me: do you have any scratch tickets? (I blindly didn't see them in front of me)Him: (annoyed) yes....we have a lot of them..(pointing in the direction)Me: any 3 dollar crosswords?Him: idk you'd have to look (still annoyed)Me: okay I'll take two number 6's (pulling out my DEBIT card)Him: cash only..can't you read?Me: I don't see where that says it..and I know for a fact you can purchase lottery with a debit cardHim: so now your questioning me(being all tough and even more annoyed)Me: actually yes..does this place only accept cash for lottery? Because at all the other places I've been to in wausau takes debit..Him: yeah.. you can't read can you? (Smerking and laughing at me)Me: are you this rude to everyone that asks why cash only?Him: you can talk to my manager..her name is Sandra and she loves to hear from people who can't read.Me: I'll just take my lemonade thankyou. (Finishing my purchase)Him: you can tell her my name, Domanick she loves to hear from stupid people..Me: (trying not to be THAT customer) ((headed out the door)) you know you don't have to be so rude about itHim: go spend your money elsewhere I never want to see you here againMe: all I was asking was for you to be more nice you jerk.The lady behind me stood there in shock..Thats embarrassing for this young man... specially if he represents the company.

  Clean store. Lots of selection. Big parking lot and plenty of pumps.

  Put $16 of 87 octane in my tank on 3/30/2020. Morning of 3/31/2020 had a major miss fire and a fried injector and fried spark plugs as well.Water in gas tank. Was near empty prior to that fill up. Unacceptable.

  It's clean. Staff are friendly enough. No cash back or working ATM though, which should be part of the most basic services at any gas station. Big yikes.
