“I have always purchased paint in big box stores because it was what I've known to do. I have never really had a terrible experience there, but I didn't realize what I was missing until I came to McGovern and Sons. It can not be stated enough how friendly and knowledgeable their staff are. I thought I had an unhelpful list of things I wanted out of a paint color but the staff were able to listen to my wants and immediately pulled two perfect shades off the wall. I was struggling trying to decide on my own using apps and this and that and another thing.Also, I had my two year old with me while running errands. Sometimes it has to be done that way. At McGovern and Sons she wasn't strapped in a cart and bored, she wasn't seen as a nuisance, she was welcomed. The space is designed to welcome littles ones with a corner play space. She could play, be independent, see me the whole time, and I got to breathe for a minute and calmly look at colors. Having a space designed to welcome littles is priceless to busy parents and guardians.”
