Deja orders doordash and refuses to tip. Is that the kind of morality you want looking after your children? I know I want my kids to be raised to treat people with respect.

New and old directed refused to make a behavior plan for my son and talked to a staff member I was actually friends with instead of coming to me personally. Very racist ‼ my son is one of two black kids that go there . I tried to make my own plan and she refused to even try or ever have a meeting with me.

La Petite Academy in Waunakee is an amazing daycare! Their professionalism, open communication, and transparency earned our trust. Mrs. Jen is an incredibly helpful and organized Director. We have loved all of our daughter's teachers in both the infant and toddler classroom. Miss Rebecca, Miss Crystal and Mrs. Amy are truly assets to this school. Our daughter always smiles when they greet her and she waves them goodbye at the end of the day. We appreciate how much they have helped her learn how to eat solids and in using a sippy cup. She eats a balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack every day. They provide diapers as part of your tuition which is a nice perk. They do "parent-teacher" conferences and other fun activities throughout the year too. Our favorite thing about this daycare is the app and video monitors. They use the Brightwheel app and communicate with us consistently throughout the day. They let us know about every feeding, diaper change, nap, and relay other important notes through it as well. The teachers use it to send us tons of photos of her each day also which is always reassuring to see her having a good time and playing with the other kids. Additionally, they have video monitors you are granted access to that you can tune into at any point to watch your kiddo! This level of transparency and honesty I believe sets them apart as the best daycare in the area.My constructive feedback would be that I wish they paid their teachers more to attract and retain talent :)

We started our first baby here when she was 3 months and it has been fantastic. Jenn has been wonderful and extremely responsive to us whenever we have questions. Our infant room teachers, Ms. Amy and Ms. Rebecca, are amazing teachers and caregivers. They are the right balance of attentive and giving our daughter a little space while still keeping a watchful eye on her. As first time parents, we have felt so much more at ease with their care. Honorable shoutout to Mr. Chance, Ms. Amy and Ms. Taylor for helping with Cameron during the end of the day! I have no desire to look for daycare services elsewhere; this place is ideal.

We have been with LaPetite now for 5 years and after a brief absence due to COVID, we have been deeply impressed with their handling of the pandemic. My wife and I are both physicians and care about safety first and foremost. They have consistently been ahead of the curve in keeping children and teachers safe with COVID-19 and now have experience with navigating a pandemic. I feel very safe with my youngest son (13 months) there now and appreciate their careful approach to safety. The leadership quickly adapts to changing circumstances and communicates well. Overall an outstanding experience.

My son just started at la petite and im blown away with the staff. We had a tough transition to an in home and it just wasn't working out for us. La petite has made the transition easier not just on our son, but on us parents as well. The updates and photos we get during the day really help put our mind at ease at let us focus on our work while we are there. Such a wonderful start for our family!

My son was having a hard time initially going to daycare with drop off and the staff were absolutely fantastic, really helpful and very kind with lots of useful tips. He is now asking to go every day and not just his normal days. All his teachers from the toddler room to the twos have been excellent and have always shown lots of paitience with any question I have had. I always receive a prompt response no matter what time/day. The rooms are fun and clean, the meals varied . We have been delighted with our experience and we are really looking forward to our daughter starting next year. We have seen lots of great developmental things, such as help with potty training, enhancing his vocabulary and independent dressing etc. with our son so far since he started going and he only goes part time! He talks about his teachers and friends all the time and it makes us so happy we are dropping him off somewhere he enjoys so much.

My 1 and 3 year old were at the center for about 7 months. The teachers in each room were great but ultimately we decided to move the kids because of decisions at the administrative level. My child was kept in the infant room (3-9 month olds) until the day she was required to move per policy (13 months). We were told this was unfortunate but a reality of staffing. It appeared this would be an issue with every room move and it also appeared to be an issue for several other children in the facility.Jen (director) seems to struggle to look at individual child needs and abilities. The focus was on bottom line and staffing. This was unfortunate because of the control she exhibits over decisions for your child.Individual teachers clearly had no opportunity to make decisions, even though they are very talented and truly understand the child's needs.

We have been with La Petite Academy for over 5 years now. We started with my daughter in 4K back in 2012 and have since added another child who is currently in the toddler room. My daughter, who is now in 4th grade, attends for after school care. I can say, without a doubt, that I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. The teachers are like family to us. They treat our children as if they were their own. I know every day that when I drop them off, they are in good hands. Our kids have learned so much from the teachers! From tummy time as an infant to learning to read/write in 4K, this place has it all! It's always clean, the classrooms are always orderly, each room has age appropriate toys and activities for the kids, and our kids genuinely enjoy going there everyday. The outside play area is also amazing!!Miss Jen, the director, has been wonderful to us. We have never had a negative experience with her or any of her staff. After 5 years you would think I would have at least one complaint (I can be a critical person) but honestly La Petite has been a godsend to us. I can't say enough good things about this day care center and I give my highest praises and recommendations. It takes a village to raise a child, and I am so thankful that La Petite is part of our village!!

I can't say enough great things about La Petite in Waunakee. My daughter has had wonderful experiences brought about by teachers who care about the children, their education and socialization. There are many fun opportunities presented that the families can be a part of and it has made all the difference for me and my husband. Jen has a very deep and loving commitment to this school and the kids. When my daughter's teacher moved across the country, Jen filled in for several months until a new teacher was hired. My daughter came home with fun stories and was always excited to share the things she learned. She shared the lessons they learned (emotional development, social development, and even fun things like silly songs). Thank you Jen and to the other cheerful, dedicated, and loving teachers at La Petite in Waunakee!

Couldn't be happier with this daycare! All of the teachers are extremely nice and take wonderful care of the children. My two year old daughter is always learning new things and has a ton of fun with her friends and teachers. Jen, the director, goes above and beyond to ensure the children as well as the parents have a truly amazing experience.

I am a recent new hire with La Petite Academy. I spent several days training with Jen the Director of La Petite in Waunakee and her staff. She has such great staff that truly cares about her families and children. Very open communication and welcoming environment. The children and families seemed very happy coming and going from the center and everyone was sure to answer any questions/concerns parents may have. Highly recommend the facility!

My wife has worked here for several years and the only reason why she has stayed is due to the bond she forms with the kids. And I would like to say, she has no knowledge of this review, but I am sick of hearing the stuff she tells me:She absolutely hates working here, all due to the director Jen.Jen makes all the teachers absolutely hate the place. She lies all the time to parents and superior staff members to make herself look better. The main thing that makes me mad is that my wife can't even take a sick day if she wanted. (even though she has several days built up for paid sick leave) If she were to take a day off, Jen would guilt trip her for weeks and make her work as late as possible for the remainder of the week. That is bullshit!! If someone is sick, and has days built up to take off, then they deserve a day off without some kind of punishment. Furthermore, sick teachers shouldn't be anywhere near kids.I know there was a recent scare with the entrovirus recently too. I don't know what ever came of this but I know the teacher that was suspected of having it came to work because Jen guilt tripped her and threatened her with disciplinary action. The next day, that teacher was hospitalized... Sounds like a great director, doesn't it?My wife came home with a note today that the teachers received and it pretty much said that if you're sick you still need to come to work, and if you claim that you're sick too often, that she'd take disciplinary action..I know the past assistant director quit due to Jen as well. The teachers hate her as a director and I feel like something needs to be done to deal with her. I honestly feel like when she looks at the kids, she see's dollar signs. She acts like the center is a business, which it obviously is, but she cares more about how good she can make herself look by being profitable, than the kids themselves.I really hope the cooperate offices see this and do something about Jen. The sad part about this post? Cooperate won't do a thing, they're making money, and i'm 100% certain, my wife will come home with a threatening message from Jen that went out to all the teachers about this post. And I'll be sure to comment about that too. The teachers deserve a better director, and so do the kids. What the parents see and read about how the place is run isn't true at all. Jen puts on her happy face for all the parents, then throws on her Nazi hat once all the parents are gone.As I said previously, Jen is different when parents are gone..As of right now, I am unsure if she has seen this post or not, but all as I can say is that I am in no way connected to La Petite or any competitors, so it is my legal right to portray my comments, or in this case concerns about this location and Jen.
