My business was promised a shop at jar storedge but was told we had to wait a couple weeks for the other person to move out ok no problem but when the owner rich came back I unfortunately witness and experienced that he is a racist. we talked for over an hour on the phone had good convo he even said he would give my business work and interpose me to some bigger contractors that rent there but when he saw that I was African American he got rather upset and then denied us the big shop and we got stuck trying to make a shop out of 10× 40 storedgewitch later on he tried kicking us out of it because I fix his bathroom when it flooded he and I have him on video and adieo and 2 witnesses him calling me a n***** and him messaging me that he has kicked people like me off his property in the past. After that he stopped us from parking on the property with are work truck and are job trailer to the point of I ask the neighbor and I complied when he saw that he called him witch happens to be a Latino man and threaten him to make me get off his property also witch that gentle men is a witness and told me him self that rich is mean dirty and conniving when it comes to other races also 3 other white tenants of his that talk to him regularly and also told me he has issues with African Americans they told me this because they felt he was being unfair one day when I used the public restroom I was told we had access to because if we diddnt we would not have rented because of my medical problem I have and he rush over there and yelled at me and called me all sorts of names and when reminded him what he told me on the phone pryer his exact words was " I dont give a fu ** about your medical problems this bathroom is not for people like you drive to town and use McDonald's if you go in there a again I will have you arrested" now I pay my rent on time or early I'm respectful and in my lease it states there is bathroom access , electric and 24 hour access and a parking spot for us, witch was all tooken from us when he met and saw that I was African American. Rich has tried bullying me to leave for almost the entire year we have almost bean and always just kept my head hi and ignored it until now I ask to get the lights turned on so we can move are stuff out safely we did for about 2 hours then turned it back off again and that's after I put things aside and ask him if he needed my help because he had so many violations from the city for Illegal building water run off and I'm sure and no fire wall between the big shops after the city told him these things I recieved a letter stating we had to move because one of the shops that's getting torn down the tenant needed are storedge and because he had no where else let him stay. He is a alcoholic and I was told about a loose drug habit his wife has and also one of his sons.The other tenants that I met there where very nice to me and helped me out from time to time and told me they where all going to leave after they saw how he treated myself and my partner. I dont like trouble but not turning this power back on is my last straw, my girlfriend just had a bigger tool fall and hit her in the head and now shes ingered because of him. This has gone far enough he needs to be stopped and let no this is not right behavior in this day and age. I am 42 years old and I never thought i would ever witness racism this up close and personal I would like to boy caught this business and have him shut down for dangerous actions towards tenants calling hateful racist names and being disorderly towards me and also lieing and cheating the city of Springfield wisconsin witch I also have proff and witnesses that can confirm everything I said and more. I give home a negative -5 or no star....

In 2015 I had a new business opportunity, but with that I needed a shop. I took a visit to JAR Storage and meet with the owner Rich. We talked about my needs and how we could create a working shop very quickly. He made it work and I'm still here in 2018, but I have moved into a bigger shop as the business grew. JAR Storage is a mix of storage units and shops and it seems like whenever you come out here someone is around. I don't have any issues being here any time of the day or night because of the traffic plus they have security cameras all over the place and in my 3 years I'm not aware of any problems. The prices are fair and the owner is here most of the time during the summer so if you have any problems your not on the phone trying to get help. Rich helped me when I needed help the most and I will never forget that it was great.
