I have been dropping off deposits at this BMO Waunakee Branch for 4 years and everyone is always really nice and professional. They allow me to just drop them off and go so I don't have to wait and we have never had a deposit error.

Worst bank I’ve ever seen absolutely ridiculous. I went in to cash a couple small checks for around $300 from doing some work for someone and they said they wouldn’t cash the checks because they didn’t know me...are you serious. I’ve never heard of anything more crazy in my life I cashed probably 10 checks down the road in sauk city no problem but this bank said that and then to make it better blamed it on covid-19. That’s pretty pathetic. Very low life bank.

Sold my car to peddle.com who sent a tow truck and they wrote me the check. I went here to cash the check because I don’t have a personal checking account but this was the bank that issued the check. There shouldn’t have been any problems it’s pretty straightforward. I had my ID and signed the back of the check. Whoever was in the drive thru acted as if this was suspicious and said they require two forms of ID with my signature on them like a debit card or work ID. I did not have either and now I have a check I can’t possibly cash even though I sold my car.. I even tried calling to try to speak with someone but everything was automated and couldn’t get a representative. You would think during a pandemic they would try to be helpful but instead because I’m not rich driving a nice car I’m treated suspiciously and told even though I was given this check for the car i sold I cant cash it because I don’t have an account. I’m beside myself not everyone can afford to sell their car and just take the loss.

I switched from a different out-of-state bank to BMO since they seem to be all over Wisconsin. My experience working with this location was professional and easy.

I went there today on 5/29/19. I went to set up a direct deposit and I asked for help in doing so. The Male working at that bank looked at me while I was talking to another banker and said a different banker would be able to help. He just shushed me out of the way. Every time I've been there they have been so kind, so whoever you are mister you aren't better than anyone!

Worst customer service I have ever had. Had a business account with them for 11 years. Also a personal checking account. Stopped in because my kids had abused their iPads and had charged $800 in the Apple store resulting in overdraft charges. Brought paperwork from Apple saying they were going to reimburse me and asked if they could please not charge the $250 in charges. I was given the runaround told the manager was not there, and someone would contact me. While there she Asked me if my account was still a corporation account. I truthfully had no idea since when I had set up this account 11 years ago I was married and we did it together. I went into the bank to talk to them and instead of helping me they ended up freezing my account not reimbursing any of the charges and telling me they would need to close my account unless I can prove I was still a corporation. I know this sounds like a personal problem but how I was treated was unbelievable. I was so angry I told him I just wanted to close my business account, the bank assistant manager then said what about your child support Incredibly snotty. My child support is actually out of my other account which had nothing to do with this account. I believe it was a personal dig from the assistant manager. I honestly wish I had an audio recording of our whole conversation. I can't believe somebody like this is in customer service and has a job. She did absolutely nothing to try to keep my business and said it was like she was trying to lose it. I would absolutely never recommend this location. I left shaking and extremely upset.

Never before have I dealt with such clumsy service in a bank! I lost an ATM card and asked for a replacement. Not only have I waited 3.5 weeks (and counting) to RECIEVE my card, but the staff never cancelled the original card! The minimum balance requirements are insanely high, and the 'service' fees are excessive. And because I'm a lower income client, compared to the rest of the locals, they treat me like trash! Oftentimes they will tend to anyone else but me. Sad!

As they get bigger they get worse and have more turnover of employees. Unless you are an extremely high net worth individual or don't mind poor service you will be better served by other local institutions.

BMO Harris is the worst bank you could possibly go to since they took over M&I it has been a nightmare I'm going to another bank after 25 years of being a customer at M&I The local branch phone number is not even available online ridiculous
