I've been going to the YMCA for years. The instructors are knowledgeable, kind and caring as are the support staff. When I walk in the doors I always feel like I've come "home".

Nice and spacious location, lots of options when it comes to group classes, personal training cost is not too high either. Child watch is a fun time for small kids and at a very low rate for members. Fun classes too for small kids for swimming. Great cardio options, good weights section, track and I can keep going on. All this for a very very competitive price. Would surely recommend the place.

We are really enjoying our experience with the YMCA Aquatics program. The parent-child swim.class is perfectly suited to our child and the instructor is super supportive. Also, even as a guest, the price is hard to beat.

Value for money. Convenient 5 minute drive from my house. Improved hours. Only downside is I find emenities spread out on different floors- weight equipment up few flights on one side of building, walking track up several flights in another wing, locker rooms way down in basement

I've been a member for years and unfortunately the place has been going downhill, especially the last 3 or so years. Now with the influx of gym douches from experience fitness it's become intolerable. Luckily I am moving, but if I weren't, I would be finding a new gym.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I moved here from another state and my girlfriend and I decided to try out this local YMCA. I don't play the race card ever, but this staff was disgusting in how they treated us. Wouldn't acknowledge us but every other person in front of us or behind us when we would enter or leave. We only lasted a month there before canceling. It's horrible that a local Y did that but we are happy to NEVER come back. Our new gym is way better now anyways.

Visited from Racine. Checked out the Steam room, sauna and hot tub. Sauna and steam room are not co-ed however I highly recommend them. The sauna was a good at being hot enough. And the steam room worked really well. No towels or prelocked key pads offered here. So bring a towel and lock.

I love the Y. I'm there at least 5 times a week. I enjoy the cardio and weight rooms most. I can go to any Y wherever I am.

It's sad that I was never even said Hi too, until the water aerobics instructor confronted me in a very negative way. I thought She was coming over to me with positive energy. I was told that I was the reason for the water bubbles in the whirlpool ?. She asked me about my swimming attire, and as long as I've been here nothing was ever said about my swim wear. I'm at the YMCA for therapeutic reasons, and I have knee surgeries scheduled already. Why pick on someone that's elderly & disabled. I wish they would have came to me early on, as professional staff members. I'm a woman of color, and I feel like I'm being discriminated against here. I am a resident and have an active membership, I deserve respect. I never really communicated with anyone here & they never made me feel welcomed either. They stare at me like I'm a foreign object when I'm there. I have overlooked everything until they came to me with these accusations. Wow, I need this place at this time in my life. God knows my heart, I pray for you all.

Family friendly and a comfortable atmosphere. Their Livestrong program for cancer survivors is top notch. It doesn’t feel like a “gym”, it feels like a community. It’s been a great place to take my children for sports and babysitter certification, and it’s comfortable to work out there. The crew at the Waukesha location is the very best!

Very friendly staff. Lots of variety in means of equipment and pool. O ly issue is the locker rooms could use an upgrade. Showers are left to be desired.
