They gave me a quote over the phone $350. Then when they arrived they informed me it was per piece it would be $600. Other junk removal go by how much space used in truck. I should have sent them away and hired one of the junk removal.

Lots of junk here. My jaw dropped when I saw this hideous piece that was literally a bunch of goodwill glasswares hot glued together, you can literally see a bunch of hot glue and they are charging 20$???? This is just one example of many terrible “deals” here.

People have said this store is mostly run by volunteers - which I totally respect. That said, we were here maybe two minutes when an older gentleman (another shopper) asked an employee a question. The employee rudely responded “you can ask someone else, I’m off the clock”.Don’t get me wrong, I’ve worked retail. I’m positive this guy is not getting paid the big bucks. But to respond that way made us just want to leave. The prices also seemed pretty high, making it hard to justify supporting their mission. Hard pass.

The older lady with partial blue hair has a rude tone and a condescending attitude towards the customer when she's ringing them up. She doesn't know the word empathy or rapport. If she worked at any other retail establishment more than likely she would be fired or constructively corrected I did not want to argue with her because I happen to know her type of personality and in her mind she's always right. Ridiculous and this happened every time I bought something in there I just haven't given her my peace of mind but, her management should have already. A lot of training needs to be given at that level

Still not able to have a shopping trip without being profiled.I found a few items I really liked and a chair for a friend. I had to zoom call him to ensure he liked the item! Once I grabbed the tickets for the (3), items, I attempted to log into my checking account, but the WIFI was slow. I had a clerk, hold onto the tickets and asked, "I'f I could go to the car for the wifi to load." I even let her check my purse, just to be on the safe side. She was actually nice, but you can tell everyone was on guard, due to me being Black! Lorddd! Customers were watching me and some other staff. I was told about, "Tag," switching." Which bothered me a bit, because staff should NEVER reveal how others are stealing. It creates more theft. Overall, I found items, but will not come back without a friend. Just be aware of you are a Black woman shopping in any county outside Milwaukee-within Wisconsin! You will be profiled. It's inevitable! Be well! ?*Response to the Owner: Waukesha Habitat for Humanity Restore* October 12th, 2022As your response is greatly appreciated, I must respond with care and state, "I grew up in a small small town of 2,000 people. We were the ONLY family of color, in that town. I never experienced profiling, racism or prejudice(s), whilst shopping. It is most certainly not about where we live, but the individuals, who reside and work in our communities. It is the people, that make our businesses what they are. Customer service is just a small element. It is who you are internally, which determine positive or teachable interactions. -with customers. Wisconsin, and its businesses lack empathy of the what if's or putting themselves in someone else's shoes. What could profiling do?Staying on topic, while in your store I was profiled. By customers and staff. As I understand, from being a Retail Supervisor for most of my life, it was blatant and could've been handled differently. It is and will never be a part of my psyche. I will not internalize this level of hatred, because there is a social disconnect. So, I am leaving it here with you!My goal, in writing a review isn't to bait or complain. Be clear, it is about learning the culture of your business and not being so eager to single out shoppers, such as other businesses have in Germantown, Waukesha and Greenfield. If your associates are revealing to customers, the tactics of theft or tag switching; do not be dismayed if theft increases. Store shrinkage happens more internally, than externally...As retail persons, we both know such.Sadly, I am unable to shop in any of the towns I listed above, because store Managers are so dead set on catching 1 person, so they place their picture and surveillance in the news. Which cuts off business with other customers of the same racial identities.Once more, If I return to shop at your business, I will bring a friend for support. If it were not for Ms. Diane, I'd never considering coming back!!!In abundance,N.

Staff is very helpful, but hard to find once you leave the store entrance area. Understandably, stock changes daily, and not operated like a department store, but many smaller items are not price marked. I was hesitant in choosing items since I didn't know the cost. This would be a great place to furnish a first time renter or homeowner. Dining room and bedroom furniture is very reasonably priced, and in good shape.

Decent furniture selection. Staff are awesome. Great cause too obviously. Hardware selection is mediocre but it’s not Home Depot sooo…. We are new to area and will be shopping here more frequently before seeing other stores.

Interesting cross between a Goodwill and furniture and hardware stores. Some great deals on hardware items, but I would imagine it's hit or miss.

Very clean and organized. Prices were way too high for a restore. Maybe check out one of the other locations before trying this one.
