Disaster pharmacy visit. 1. Received message that prescription was ready but they needed insurance info. 2. Received message that insurance went through and it was all set. 3. Went to pick up. 4. Price was way too high for insurance. 5. I asked why, he said “because it’s an over the counter medication”. 6. I googled it, it’s clearly not. 7. I went back in and showed him that it’s not OTC and my insurance wasn’t used. 8. He says he needs to return the meds and he needs my PAPER receipt to the do that. Can’t pull it up in the computer system (stone ages??). Or the store manager can do it. Fine, call the store manager over. 9. She comes over, says she too needs the paper receipt. 10. I go back out to my car to retrieve paper receipt. Come back in, she is gone. 11. He calls her again, she finally comes back and returns the meds. 12. He says, “we have to get approval from your insurance for this medication, which could take days.” WHAT IS HAPPENING. 13. Use GoodRX, got a bit of money off. 14. He rings ALL of the order up again and I have to pay for the whole thing again. 15. Can I get proof that the first one was fully refunded? He says “I can show it to you but we have to keep the receipt.”
I can’t even with these people. Go home Walgreens, you’re drunk and useless.
PS. While I am waiting, another lady comes in and says she wants to return a medication. The same person says “We can’t do returns on meds.” So, they also lie.

Why are the bathrooms so disgusting and decrepit here and at every single Walgreens that exists?? It's always a complete mess in them and nothing works. Every one has problems with the soap, paper towels, lights and even the water fixtures.. note the employees have to use these bathrooms too.

The pharmacy is worthless. Confirmed meds were ready to be picked up for my family member. After I arrived I was told I would have to wait 25 to 30 minutes to have them filled, because somebody forgot to do their job, after driving across town 40 minutes. Complete waste of time.

Great store but I received notice today, April 18th 2025, that the pharmacy is closed temporarily. They've been open for limited hours recently so maybe this is why? Hopefully they'll reopen the pharmacy soon!

I was just at the Grandview Walgreens drive thru and I was a bit surly with the staff. I just do want to apologize because it wasn't anything to do with the staff there. I've been having an eye issue that's causing me a lot of discomfort and I get seriously grumpy when I'm hurting. I'm afraid I took it out on the pharmacy staff, when they are usually top notch. I rarely ever have a problem with this Walgreens. Once again, I'm sorry, you deserve better from me. Please forgive me.

Don’t go here if you want a pcr test. They’ll try to talk you out of it and make you feel stupid for caring about your health.

It's a standard Walgreens. Beware there is a closure of the Phamacy daily for midday mealbreak. It means the Pharmacy counter and the drive thru are closed assuming the pharmacist is at lunch. Can't dispense anything without one on duty.

Pharmacy was short staffed but the pharmacist, Priya and pharmacy tech worked diligently to make sure their customers were taken care of, all with a pleasant attitude. Great job!

It's pretty nice, just wish they had different floors. Other than that everyone there is really nice :)
