Waited in the pharmacy line forever and then once the person who was holding up the line finally finished, the person behind them got serviced before I did even though I was there before them. Not only that, but I was told that my prescription was supposed to be done in 2 hours. Went in 3 hours instead to give them more time and then they said another hour and a half. It's ridiculous to wait this long in line when medication is vital to customers.

The staff is very arrogant, slow and unwilling to answer simple questions. They also decided to send my prescription to their fulfillment center making me come back in 3 days after making wait in the store for over 1/2 hour before telling me I would have to come back for my prescription in three days.

Pharmacy is awful! Everytime it's time to pick up my prescription it is alway set to be picked up in Eagle River. I have changed this in my account every month and a few times their staff has changed this and still every month when I go to pick up my prescription I end up having to wait because once again my prescription is AGAIN in Eagle River! Also, I called them to straighten this out and I have been on hold for over an hour and a half waiting to talk to someone. I just don't understand. This is the last straw and I will be switching Pharmacies.

Would not confirm receiving the Rx that urgent care sent to them, after urgent care contacted them 3x’s to ask them to acknowledge the Rx they refused to confirm so urgent care decided to change it to CVS down the road.

This location is not LGBT friendly. My wife needed to use the restroom while we picked up her medication at the pharmacy. My wife who is trans was confronted in the restroom by the cashier and was threatened. When I talked to the manager she kept redirecting the conversation and as far as I know the employee didn't see any repercussions. I recommend going to the Target down the road instead.

Horrible pharmacy pick up times. In line outside for over 1/2 hour. They need to hire more people !!

Worst Walgreens pharmacy ever. I’ll be transferring everything over to CVS or WalMart despite not being able to stomach them either. Here you’ll overpay and be held subject to the pharmacists whims despite having approval from your insurance company for medication. Not to mention they can’t seem to be properly staffed and if they’re busy, organization and multi-tasking go out the window.Severe pain, doesn’t matter. Sit and wait for 2plus hours for what should be very common prescriptions prescribed by a SPECIALIST familiar with your medical history and situation. And then be required to come back the next day in a certifiable blizzard because the pharmacist with a power trip wants you to wait 12 hours.

The pharmacy canceled my prescription order without so much as calling me, 3 days before Christmas, due to some kind of refill error. Then I attempted to call to get it fixed and suffered through three transfer calls, two people of whom clearly had no time or patience to help someone on the phone. I was genuinely polite and reasonable in expressing my concerns, given the situation. My concern was over putting this order in a second time by phone, because if they cancel my prescription order again, I will be without my medication for almost 2 weeks. However, I was rudely informed that the tech had other customers with more pressing needs and she proceeded to hang up the phone on me without so much as a word.I have worked in customer service and currently work in healthcare myself. This is reductive and dismissive and unacceptable behavior in most situations, let alone this one.Last time I will ever step foot in this store again.

Sweet staff in the pharmacy, and sweet staff in the store! The techs in the pharmacy are excellent and you can tell they work very hard and diligently even while being understaffed. A great example of good customer service.

I waited 11 hours for a prescription for COVID symptoms. Unacceptable wait time! I will never use their pharmacy again.

I can't understand all the negative reviews about this Walgreens. I have been going to this Walgreens for more than 20 years, and it has always been a pleasant experience, particularly the pharmacy. I couldn't begin to count how many vaccine injections I've received there, with at least the same professionalism as a doctor's office. I have always been treated with courtesy and kindness during every interaction. This has always been and will always be my go-to drug store.

Absolutely terrible....corporate should get involved with this store. We have visited this Walgreens for over 20 years and haven't had issues. This past week was the worst experience, prescription was sent in at 10am, we called all day to see if it was ready. Sitting on hold with the horrible automated system, by 7:30pm the prescription was STILL not ready and they told me it was just sent in, earlier in the day they told us it was "processing." An hour later we sat on hold for about 30 minutes, then we were told they weren't sure if it was even in stock. Such a waste of time...I will not get a prescription from this pharmacy again.

Please train your pharmacy staff. It's bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. I'll keep writing until there's enough content to post this review. Bad.

Used this pharmacy 3 years ago and were super rude. Argued back and forth with the doctor's office that prescribed my son's medications about how to do it, sent the message the medication was ready and when we arrived, waited 45 minutes in the drive thru to be told it wasn't ready and to come back the next day! Recently tried calling them due to current pharmacy closing and they wouldn't give me any information if they carried specific medications without the doctor sending the prescription through and when I stated I didn't want to know if it was currently in stock, just if they typically carried it when it is available, the "pharmacist " said she couldn't help me. Ridiculous. She didn't even offer to communicate with the other pharmacy like they typically do when transferring medications.

One of the problems is they use the antiquated prescription retrieval of a plastic bin jammed with order after order. It is time inefficient and often the latest orders are not even in the bin. They are also prone to sending a text saying it is ready when it is not. Also they often have half order fills which means another trip to the bin situation.
