Let's just say 2 years ago before Covid, I wouldn't have recommended my worst enemy to walk into this store.They really have done a wonderful staff upgrade!! So far, check outs are friendly. Checking in is pleasant. It's still hard to find help with items though. That would be my only negative these days.

Date 09/14/2022. Time at store: approx. 4pm. Waukesha location. This would get two stars if it weren't for the product Sam's offers, and that's the convenience for me to come here. But this review is to address the poor customer service I have gotten here several times. I don't know if Sam's is not practicing work life balance, but some of the staff is really unhappy and ruins it for the many there that give great customer service. I joined a special member program where I can scan my stuff myself and leave..."Scan & Go". I love it....until today. Today I got bananas and other stuff. The sign stated a price, but when I scanned it it came up higher. I was at the front registers, so I notified what appeared to be a front lanes lead. She told me that in order to get the lower price than what the scan & go shows, I have to get in line and go through the register. WHAT!? I told her what is the purpose of this scan n go if I have to go through the line for specific prices. In fact, I informed her that Sam's offers lower price benefits for certain products for being a member of this program. She tells me that I can scan the rest of my stuff and do the bananas at the lanes. I was unaware that there are unknown, higher, prices for the scan n go. I thanked her and I went to go put my bananas back. As I scanned the rest of my cart, I found the raspberries to be the wrong price also. I just pushed my cart forward and left and went to Aldi. Why did I join this program if it's going to be a guessing game with prices, and to find out that I might as well just stand in line at the registers, which I hate.I think coaching the team to offer price adjustments to the customer on price accuracy issues could avoid such frustrations in the future. As I said earlier, the majority of the employed here have been outstanding in their customer service, I am hoping that this was just an occurrence.

I have found the Sam's Club Optical Centers to be among the lowest in qualify and service for prescription glasses. I do have to declare that this particular optical center is abysmally awful. I got a new prescription and took it to the optical center - along with two frames I had that were excellent condition (for new lenses). I picked another frame (to make three pairs of glasses). The worker there Alicia, had to measure my pupil locations twice - because she couldn't seem to get it right. The amount I paid was $784.60 I got called on 4/5/2021 that my glasses were ready. I came in on 4/6/2021to pick up my glasses and that's where the fiasco really began. Ironically, it was Alicia I got to deal with again there. One of the frames I had given them for new lenses was now damaged the arms of the frame were over extended and would not sit right any longer. I pointed out the damage to frames and Alicia haphazardly tried to fix them (they're still not fixed) And as I tried on each pair of glasses I found the bifocal and lens placements were completely wrong. Alicia professed not to know how that happened and whoever measured my eyes did it wrong - and she would have done it differently. After listening to her carry on, I informed she was the one who had measured my eyes. To which, of course, she first pretended I was mistaken and then pretended not to remember. She did offer to remeasure my eyes and have new lenses made "at no additional cost" - what a sweet thing to offer (sarcasm intended), but nothing for my damaged frames. It seemed on those, I was out of luck. After dropping nearly $800 in glasses to get the quality I received, there no way in hell, I was going for round two. I instituted Alicia to put my old lenses back into my old frames and I will leave the new glasses and lenses with her and instructed her to give me a refund. She then spent almost 10 minutes tapping on a calculator and looking at her screen. I asked what's going on with refund. She said she was still working on it. I asked: "do you even know how much you're refunding me." She admitted she didn't. I finally lost my patience informed I will dispute the transaction in my credit card. So, now I am just waiting for Amex to correct what Alicia could not. Yeah, this place completely sucks!

We took the chance and decided to go inside instead of a pick up. They had many customers without masks and refusing to social distance even though they have a mask policy. When we approached workers about it, including the customer service desk, they disregarded our concerns and didn't even attempt to contact a manager, office manager or floor manager, which is your policy according to your own management team. Obviously, this lazy and inconsiderate behavior is against even your own policies and system put in place so that people at risk like us can safely shop for our basic needs. If you are at risk, I suggest finding a different place to shop.

What a horrible customer experience. Extremely poor customer service. Always have multiple employees standing around because the only one that can help you is busy. Thankfully Costco is right down the road.

Had to do a formula exchange without receipt that was gifted to my friend. The lady, wish I had caught her name, searched through records and we had no issues. What a great experience. Ended up walking out with way to much other stuff purchased lol

Couldn't believe I was subjected to racial discrimination !! The white trash working as the greeter let a couple Caucasians in without asking for their sams card but as soon as she seen me , in a rude tone "where's your sams card". She definitely got a piece of my mind. Thanks to the employee who took the time to listen and understand went out her way to find a manager. Disgusting trash like her is the reason why the country the way it is now .....

Do NOT order photos from here! They closed their photo department without notifying customers. They are taking orders and not fulfilling them. We ordered Christmas cards from here two weeks ago. Went to pick them up after the scheduled date, no cards. They have no signs directing you where to go in store, as there is NO photo department, have to go to customer service desk. They have no idea when we will get our order. Had to cancel and go to Walgreens. They did nothing to make it right or correct the situation.

Have had business membership for 20+ years. Went to tire shop at 8:15 am, before regular customers can shop. Needed 2 tires due to mechanical maintenance caused premature wear. First tech not customer service oriented at all. Scanned my card and said he couldn't take my keys until 9 am because they stopped having "business" memberships 2 years ago and I needed to upgrade to "plus". I said ok, let's do it! He said go to customer service and walked away. Within 5 minutes I was back at the tire counter with my upgraded membership. A wonderful (different) tech came out with an excellent and friendly personality. He promptly sold me 2 great tires at an awesome deal and I was on my way. This was the first time I had such excellent service at this location in YEARS. Usually short-staffed and no one at register in tires. Tech advised to come back after 50 miles to have lug nuts "retorked". The same experienced tech was there the next evening after 6 pm (with a smile) and had me taken care of within minutes! Hope they keep him cause he's the best!
