All the other reviewers are correct. This is a nasty store. There is junk everywhere & employees are not helpful. Observed 2 young male workers hiding out in the toy section watching a video on their phone of someone getting beat up. Seriously? LP guy was very obvious & makes you not want to shop there because I was trying to decide which item would work better & he was lurking around making me feel very uncomfortable. Needless to say I did not buy anything there, but drove to the New Berlin Walmart & was greeted with friendly, helpful workers in a clean store. Will not return to the Waukesha store ever again!!

Went For store pickup and called the number 7 times- no one answered. Waited 15 minutes to talk to someone. Mentioned he's covering pick up and front. Tried calling the main store office to voice concerns, ended up hanging up after another 10 minutes with no one picking up.

Buyer beware! I ordered three tops took one out of the package and tried it on and it did not fit. So I took all three back, keep in mind only one package was opened the other two were sealed. I was told that I could not return any of them! I could see them not allowing me to return the one I tried on, but to not let me return the other two was ridiculous! The lady at the customer service counter said that the information regarding not excepting clothes returns is posted on the website....NOT! I could not see a sign at the customer service counter stating this either! Buyer beware!

After having lunch in town I decided to not go to my Walmart and check out the one in Waukesha instead. This is your typical bigger Walmart one stop shop store with all your needs. I don't know if it was my imagination but I had a hard time flying/navigation through the store like my store because it's set up different. The deli was nicer than my store with more variety that I noticed right away and basically newer/nicer. Even though I found everything I needed I did notice empty shelves around the store and certain items with a couple left on the shelf. I only saw one person restocking the meat department and other employees walking around or taking to each other. Typical weekend Walmart with 50 feet of registers and and three of the lit up/open signs on, I'm just into the self check out. I was looking for a quiet small desk fan and they have them but they are battery or USB powered only, how to I test it. F it I grabbed it and went to the electronics department with no employees in it and I took it out of the box and plugged it into a lap top, works for me and now I don't have to deal with any returns if I got it home and I didn't like it. Overall it's a Walmart and every store has its pluses and minuses but this store has a UPS shipping store in line with the bank and the Subway which I thought was a nice thing if you need to ship boxes out. I walked away with everything on my list for the most part but one item I had to get a lesser brand because the common brand was in one of the gaping empty whole shelf's missing stock

Anyone walking at Walmart on West Ave in Waukesha WI, risks their lives. We've stopped shopping there after a woman driver came within inches of us running us down. Drivers speed through the parking lot (one almost hit our parked car before dropping cartons of soda from his open tailgate) and other drivers never "YIELD" to pedestrians--even those in crosswalks. We've complained and made suggestions to management three times--to install "STOP" signs and speed-bumps--but each time we were told "crosswalks are marked". Yes, with faded stripes and a sign 12-feet above vision of drivers! It's no wonder drivers ignore both. This last time, when we complained, after another woman driver nearly drove over our shoes (two witnesses agreed), an Asst. Mgr. told us a sign they placed in one crosswalk "was run over". Management knows they have a problem, but still won't install "STOP" signs or speed-bumps. We left, but not before telling that Asst. Mgr. that we'd never shop there again. This Walmart has low-life, trashy workers and shoppers, so if you value your life and dollars, DON'T SHOP AT THIS WALMART--let it go bankrupt!

Register man was very very nice. Had some nice sense humor with good ethics on work. Very helpful and cared about the customer happiness. Got myself a Ninja blender!

One of the WORST Walmart's I ever been to. Customer service sucks. Treat people like garbage and truly don't care about customer satisfaction.... if there is a sale in the store and the quantity is limited and it's a nice item. The staff there (including store manager) will blatantly lie to your face so that the staff have first dibs on the items. I would advise going to your local mom and pop stores for compassion and care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE

My husband and I just stopped in to this store looking to even exchange or get in store credit for some duplicate Legos my step daughter got for her birthday, unfortunately without a gift receipt. The woman at the desk immediately refused the transaction saying that we needed to go to the original store and that this is the policy because they r legos. Well we went to the New Berlin Walmart and was able to do the even exchange with no hassle, it needed CMS approval, but NO HASSLE. They even got an additional $11 out of us because the total of the legos we did choose was greater. So way to turn away business Waukesha. This Service Rep also was bickering about the couple in front of me as they left. Very unprofessional and crappy customer service if you ask me. I don't believe I would waste my time to go to the Waukesha walmart again.

Ghettomart with the laziest employees. Took a half hour to replace money orders in the machine. Lady behind the counter was laughing about the situation. Garbage store. Shut it down.

Huge place but somehow never has what I'm looking for. Even the basics can be difficult to find. Staff is almost nonexistent. There are self-checkouts but often only a few are open at one time so there is still a huge line to checkout.

worst store ever! Two days ago bought humidifier well picking up a prescription. Tried to return today because as much as i tinkered with it steam would not come out top. would bubble up but not come out top. They opened box and since it was wet and top was scuffed (from resting in bath tub as filled) it was heavily used for two days and they would not accept it back! I sat for over an hour to be told that something was not returnable that does not work because it was used heavily in two days! For $40 they have lost a long time customer for life! I asked manager if heavily used in two days makes any kind of sense and her reply was it does to me with big googly eyes!

I spent half an hour between two Walmart stores waiting for the operator to pick up my call, then no one picking up in the photo department, then asking to speak to the manager on duty with the New Berlin store, only to have the same experience with the Waukesha location. The manager on duty at the Waukesha location said he would have to run to the other side of the store to see if he could locate the product I was looking for. I thanked him and said I'll call someone else who can answer a product question and has customer service. Maybe the new Meijer store will be a much better experience when it is completed in Waukesha. This is why I do not shop at Walmart.

While I try not to visit Walmart that often in the hopes of supporting the small guy, sometimes you are on a budget and crunched for time, so Walmart fits that hole. My three complaints... the produce section, the messiness, and time it takes to check out. The produce section of the store is very hit and miss. Sometimes it is fine, other times it is a bit... well disgusting to be honest. One example: I was looking for Mustard Greens and besides there not being any, the collard greens and the Swiss Chard looked not just wilted, but on closer inspection, a couple of bunches looked a bit moldy. The messiness... maybe it is just the times that I go, but I feel like I am always dodging something or rummaging through to find things. However, I don't feel like this is an isolated problem, based on my other Walmart experiences. The last is the time it takes to check out. If you are in a hurry, it is impossible to get through quickly. And the lines for self-checkout are always quite long, so trying to bypass the long lines is not really possible. And the staff aren't entirely helpful in this situation either. Overall, if I can avoid it I do, otherwise I try to only buy what is necessary and get in and out without incident.
