Just picked up our girls, Nika and Astra. Jim and Dawn were great! Dawn was waiting for us by the door at our pick-up time so Jim could let the girls run around outside before we picked then up. They kept our girls together during their stay. Nika and Astra were all smiles when they greeted my husband and me. They also kept running to Jim and Dawn. We are definitely going to board our girls with K9 Country Club in the future!

We have boarded our 3 German Shepherds with Jim and Dawn for close to 7 years now. They clearly understand dog behavior well. We have never had any problems and our dogs love them. Very accommodating with pickup and drop off times. Thank you.

Jim had my 3 yr old rescue shepherd for a week. To say she has "issues" is anunderstatement. He was great with her. I think he likes dogs more than people.Which is exactly who I want taking care of my dog when I can't!

We were made aware of K-9 Country Club by our friend Larry from the German Sheperd Club. He told us that his friend Jim and his wife Dawn had a place right across the street that boards dogs and they were very good! Well they were close to our home so we thought we'd give them a shot. We called and talked to Jim and set up a time to meet Jim and Dawn and for them to meet our sheperd. We spent a good amount of time talking to both of them and learning of their love for dogs and their expertise showed!! Our sheperd took to them right away and seemed to feel right at home! Jim and Dawn's advice on training and diet has helped us with ideas on the development of our sheperd and we've boarded her with them a couple times now. Each time we have picked our dog up from K-9 Jim has bathed her for us and has worked with her on commands to help with her training! We've never boarded any of our past dogs at any kennel that has gone to that extent to take care of our dog!! Thanks to Jim and Dawn for all you do!

We had a German Shepherd that needed to be kenneled and he was not fixedK9 kennel was happy to take him as they play with dogs 1:1Jim and Dawn were understanding they have great knowledge on the breed arranged a grooming before we picked him upGreat care ! Bo will be back to visit!

Thanks for the 2 star review Dawn. Giving us a honest chance would of been nice. Our staff is all under the age of 18 and unable to be left in the store alone. It is not feasable to pay 2 drivers on a slow winter night. I doubt you are guarding the phone at your business at 8pm waiting for customers. A little understanding especially from a local business would of been nice.

Run by only a couple people that enjoy what they do. Very experienced. Ive taken my dog to other boarding places before here and he would come out exhausted and smelling. He comes out of here happy as a clam and no smell issues. Great place to board your dog

K9 Country Club is the absolute best kennel we have ever used! We have been using them for 2 dogs over 4 years. Jim and Dawn , the owners, are very caring and knowledgeable about dogs and have even trained dogs for Hollywood films. They keep the dogs separate, and personally interact with them to provide socialization. The place is immaculate. After trying several kennels over the years, we finally have a place we can trust for high quality care. Thank you Jim and Dawn!

I have two dogs that are a bit much. One of them doesn't like people much and is guarded at all times but once Jim opens the door she tears in there and doesn't look back. I don't have to worry about my dogs when I'm gone because I know they are safe. They don't come home stinking like urine and panicked and sick as I've experienced elsewhere. Very much recommend K9 Country Club.

My husband shared his review already, but I wanted to share here, too. I figured it can never hurt to share the appreciation for our local businesses!We were hemming and hawing for a LONG time on who we should board our big Komondor mix (Kaz) and our Border Collie/Pittie mix (Taylor) for the first time ever. They are homies, so we wanted them be boarded together, but everywhere we looked was just insanely priced to do that (over $160 a day). I would have been paying more for them to stay at a pet hotel than for me to stay at a Disney hotel - and as much as I love my pets, that seemed too much.But then we found K9 Country Club and saw they work closely with area K9 police units (including local FBI and DEA). I have known a few officers who have had K9 companions and I KNOW they never board them somewhere without making sure it was up to their standards.We met Jim and Dawn a few days before our vacation, per their request, so they could see if they were a good fit with the dogs. Our dogs loved them from the start. You can tell they love all dogs and were more than happy to board them together, as their larger kennel was available.The dogs have access to an individual outdoor run right off their kennel so they could go in and out as they needed. If your dog doesn’t like a “neighbor” in another kennel, they had drapes so nobody could lock eyes and get upset at each other all day. I appreciated knowing that.The kennels themselves are in a climate controlled building and on the hottest days of the year so far, I didn’t have to worry that my giant fluffball would overheat! And they had plenty of play time with the owners. I loved that they only let one dog (or one “family” of dogs) out at a time, so my dogs had the run of the yard for a bit without any unknown dogs to cause a ruckus. So safe!And when we got back, our Komondor mix just wanted more belly rubs from Dawn and our Border Collie/Pittie mix was running around like she owned the place! Jim seemed just as excited as we were that the dogs had a great time. :)I’m so glad we found them and definitely will be asking for their services again in the future! I’ve told a few people of their services because they also take intact dogs, which is so hard to come by with dog boarding businesses.

My wife and I had our dogs (Taylor and Kaz) stay with Jim and Dawn and it was the best boarding experience we’ve ever had! It’s clear both of them are diehard dog lovers. Our dogs are generally skeptical of new people (one is a little anxious and the other is very protective), but they both took to Jim and Dawn RIGHT away. When it was time to pick them up, they were definitely happy to see us but had to be pried away from K9 Country Club. We will definitely be having our dogs stay with them in the future!
