ETE has the highest credibility. Vehicle appeared to have steering issue. Tires were changed prior to drop off and out seemed to fix issue. ETE checked the vehicle at no charge and confirmed it was OK. I'm a long time customer and it stays the first place I go.

Rather than push repairs, Vince will be honest even if it's bad news, like the repairs will cost more than the car is worth and it's time to look for a better car. Diagnostic charge was very reasonable.

For over 50 years I’ve done all of my car repairs myself. Brakes, exhaust systems, suspension - even an engine rebuild. But 3 years ago I took some young people sledding and tore a heat shield under my car. Too cold and I’m too old, I thought. I took my car to a repair shop half a mile from my house. The heat shield was fixed but my local mechanic (NOT Engine Transmission and Exchange) cut a few small slots into the flanges on my exhaust system with his small pneumatic saw. I found these slots a few months later after I personally changed gaskets twice to stop the exhaust leak. What a sickening feeling it was to realize my local mechanic (NOT ETE) made my car worse so I might come back for more repairs!
Finally my exhaust system failed and broke. I remembered Engine and Transmission Exchange, the people that did a great job on the heads and block of that engine I rebuilt 35 years ago. Oscar at ETE listened to me carefully. When an issue came up during the repair, ETE made a correct decision and kept going. OK, when I got my car home I crawled under it to check their work. Everything was correct, solid and ETE even fixed a corroded heat shield. The price was right on (yes, I checked the price on the parts too).
A very respected psychologist who lectures worldwide tells us that one of the greatest riches of our country is truthfulness and trust. When we’re honest with each other (honest mechanic AND honest customer), our problems are quickly resolved. I believe that the people at ETE share the value of honesty. I won’t worry about car repairs anymore because I found someone I can trust.

This is the only place I go for auto repairs. They are honest, do good work, and reasonably priced. You don't need to look further than ETE for your auto repairs. I have been going here for 20 years and recommend everyone I know to go there as well.

Because of the miles my wife and I drive every year, we are deeply dependent on vehicles we can depend on ... and have had peace of mind with the work that ETE does whenever we take them in for work! We have found ETE to be deeply ethical in their approach to working with clients (we have had a couple of experiences when we took our vehicles to ETE for what we thought would be major repairs, only to be told the fix was minor ... they could have been less honest!). ETE will be our "go to" car care provider as long as we have vehicles to service!!!

2012 Cruze diagnostics revealed need for a new transmission and clutch. Talked with Damon who offered the repair and recommended not to put $3500 into the 121,000 mile vehicle before I even asked which was exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with the straight forward recommendation!
