Argh. I’d been sitting in the drive up for 17 minutes before my transaction was started. I was the 2nd car here. I send my transaction through. No acknowledgement that I sent it (hi - we will be right with you). Nothing. Waited for literally 10 minutes to have someone tell me that they will be right with me. Another 7 minutes goes by with nary a word. At minute 24, the pneumatic tube sounds and I’m thrilled to be done. But no. I had two deposits. They sent a receipt for 1 and told me have a good day. I press the call button, but no acknowledgment. I had to press it repeatedly for someone to say that they are working on the second transaction.
I’m beyond disappointed. This was shockingly unprofessional.
Also? Only 2 cars in the parking lot. It wasn’t a crazy busy place.
I’m good at having patience, but to sit there for 10 minutes with NO communication? Bad look, Waukesha BMO.

If you do not make an appointment. It will take over 45 minutes to speak to a banker. I had to leave and go to a different branch to get what I needed done for the day.

Absolutely awful bank. The policies are completely detrimental to the customer. If you make a deposit into the bank they will hold all your funds, not just the funds that are in the process of clearing. This means that any checks written will be denied processing if you have a pending deposit.
Their policy is to take money from the customer not to work with their customers.

These folks are the most friendly I've encountered at any branch, including the tellers and the management. Everyone is quick to greet me and help out every time I visit. Thumbs-up BMO.

Bankers need to be aware that their tone of voice can set the tone for either a good or bad transaction. Kelsey is a beast. She bites. I ended up closing my account after it was locked for 2 weeks without access to my money. Maybe they did that because of my review. No one can seem to figure out how to unblock access.

Horrible experience. I’ve banked with them for over 10 years. I started receiving letters a few months ago saying they needed a new signature card. I called the branch I usually go to & they said it was fixed. A few weeks later, myself & my husband get frantic calls saying we need to come in TODAY otherwise they were going to close our account. I let them know it wasn’t possible due to work obligations and they said they’d take care of it. A week and a half later, my account disappears from my app with no notice or heads up from the bank. I call the branch and they say “oh, it looks like we did close your account” and said someone would call to discuss the issue with me. No one ever called me. I get an email from the branch manager that night saying he would call me Monday. He never did.Turns out I can get a 5x better deal on this account by going to a different bank so maybe they actually did me a favor.

I’ve used this bank often and frequently feel frustrated and not valued as a customer. Today I tried to use the bank drive through during the hours listed on Google and their branch voicemail service that clearly states these are the hours in light of the Pandemic. When I was sitting in the drive through lane waiting to be helped, 40 minutes after their listed opening time, the teller told me I had the wrong hours. When I explained these are the hours listed on google and their voicemail she was dismissive and kept telling me I was wrong until she checked for herself. I know that you deal with many different people in banking and many of them are not nice; however, when a customer who has been banking with you for almost 30 years says something is wrong, maybe you should value their loyalty and business. Also, when I tried to double check the hours prior I couldn’t get a hold of any human unless I had an extension I already knew to dial. But I got a call yesterday from a banker yesterday trying to sell me a service of the bank. Reaching out only when you want to sell but not being available to loyal customers is a bad business model.

I was with M&I since the early 80's. When M&I Sold Out to BMO their service went to hell. I closed my accounts with them in December 2015 due to their incompetence. They no longer know their customer or how to treat them. The only thing I miss is their terrific online banking.
