We recently had our wedding here and everything was as advertised. Dennis and Mary are very easy to work with and do everything they can to make sure your accommodations are met. Very nice family like atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice barn themed wedding at a very good price.

We had an awful experience and after reading other reviews I am confused why Dennis & Mary treated us so horribly?! They were TERRIBLE to work with & I would honestly give 0/5 if I could.1. We had originally booked for Oct 2022 but had to change the date as a family member had the same date. I asked Mary in May of 2021 if we could move it to April 30th of 2022. She said yes and if she hadn't we would have just forfeited the deposit and went somewhere else...now I wish we had. When I reached out in March of 2022 Mary acted like we had never discussed the date change but soon found the email that proved she had agreed to it.2. When we finally met with Dennis & Mary to finalize the details, they gaslighted us the whole time acting like we were such an inconvenience to them. Again, she did not have to agree to the date change 11 months prior.3. We had no help setting up Friday even though we were told we would and we had 1 person instead of 2 for day of even though the contract says 2. That person had also never worked it before and therefore had no idea what he was doing.4. Because of the lack of help, our family was forced to moved tables and chairs when they should have been enjoying the day with us. And Mary had the audacity to say it would be a lot of labor to have someone turn on our twinkle lights before the ceremony...I'm confused what we even paid for when our guests did all the work. In addition, they wouldn't open the bar until the tables were moved, which we absolutely did not want.5. We were forced to use their bartenders who mad TERRIBLE drinks. They were way too strong and most of our guests came up to tell us how gross they were. It irritates me the most because we have friends that bartend for a living and would have been cheaper while making waayy better drinks.While I understand they had things that came up that lead to most of the issues, a phone call would have went a long way. We could have had more people come set up and asked acquaintances to come help move stuff or even called the caterer and pushed dinner back to be able to have a happy hour. We just weren't given that courtesy.I truly hope that this was just a one time thing but think twice before booking with these people. Also, WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN. It is a beautiful venue but not worth the headache on your wedding day.

We had a great experience at the Barn at Windy Pines for our daughter's wedding 9/25/21. Dennis and Mary were wonderful to work with! Very responsive to all of our questions! I would recommend this place for your wedding or special event! Barn is beautiful inside. The best part is when you rent the barn, you have it for the entire weekend, so no rush for setting up.

We just got married at this Beautiful Venue on 9/12/20. Dennis and Mary were nothing short of spectacular!! They were so on top of everything, willing to help and answer any and all questions I had. We have nothing negative to say about this place! They made our day extremely stress free, we did not have 1 thing we had to worry about. They kept the grounds and bathrooms extremely clean and stocked with paper towels, soap, hand sanitizer and toilet paper. They made sure all the garbage was taken care of as quickly as possible as well. I appreciate them for helping make our day special! If you want a Barn Venue THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT!!!!!
