A sweet gem of a store for fiber art nerds of all kinds, featuring both high-quality, hand-made goodies to add to a visitor's home or wardrobe, as well as more budget friendly treats, such as books to inspire future projects. I would love to see a wider selection of fiber art project kits to occupy creative kids or adult vacationers on a rainy day in Door County.

What a delightful find on Washington Island - a Must stop for anyone who has an appreciation for fiber arts! Huge variety of Gorgeous wool yarns, along with patterns, needles, hand made ceramic buttons, etc, etc .. you name it, they likely have it! They also sell various items from artists that have either taught or attended one of their many classes that they offer through out the summer. The people are super friendly and helpful, and have a true passion for their crafts. Thank you, Patricia, for the lovely wool fingerless gloves, I can't wait to wear them! :-)

I walked just to browse while on vacation. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I was amazed at the selection of beautiful yarns I ended up buying several skeins. Great selection of yarns and knitting supplies. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

The ladies here were so helpful! They helped me pick out a good pattern & made sure I had enough yarn so I can learn how to knit. Thank you so much!

Such a lovely shop! Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior. Spacious, and yet full of treasures for knitting and crocheting in particular, at least that's what I noticed since those are my preferred fiber arts. Also, beautiful handmade jewelry, baskets, and other crafts made by artists associated with the Seiver's school. The staff were very kind and helpful. Very careful and thoughtful with their Covid-19 protocols (masks, limiting guests in store, etc.) I will definitely be back, and hopefully can take a class here one day. What a great reason to come to Washington Island again!
