Annie’s is awesome! Strongly recommend, great way to explore the island! We took the first ferry over on 10/19/23, they were winding down for the season and only the mechanic was onsite. He mentioned they weren’t really open however he quickly got on the phone, 5 minutes later the owner and her friend were there training us to ride. They were very thorough, customer focused, & made sure our group of four was prepared for a safe and fun adventure.

If you visit Washington Island and don’t visit Annie’s to rent mopeds, you’re doing it wrong! The staff is outstanding! The mopeds are super nice! Every year we come up and Annie’s is always a must. Til’ next year! “The Jason’s”

Had a great time again this year. The staff was excellent in providing instruction, made sure we know what we were doing, and the mopeds had no issues. They charged based on actual time used ( 1 hour, 2 hours, or all day). This is the second year we've rented and will do so again in the future! SO MUCH FUN!

We got to the island with our own bikes and immediately realized we had a flat tire. We stopped into Annie’s and they provided air at no cost with no hesitation. We are so thankful for their kindness and hospitality.

Really enjoyed our time out on the island, these folks were super nice and very accommodating. Scooters were in great shape and well kept.

They took great care of us. Rental process was simple and straight forward. They ensured we knew how to be safe on the scooters and gave us some great suggestions for the day.

I didn't personally rent a moped but my niece & brother did, I rented a UTV. But I can tell you their experience was not great at all.Annie called the paramedics because my niece had wiped out hours ago prior to returning the moped. My niece was bandaged by me, a healthcare professional, which I carry first aid everywhere I travel. The paramedics came and applied a band-aid.Also, the police officer showed up and took down my nieces information.Annie charged $400 to my brother for the scrape done to the paint on the moped. Which my brother agreed was fair and that he figured she'd probably still submit an insurance claim and it would be more than enough to fix what damages were done.Weeks later, my niece receives a ticket for "unable to control a motor vehicle". Which was ticketed for a day we weren't even on the island! Also, unable to dispute it by traveling back for the court date is quite convenient!Thanks Annie for being the cherry on top to our family vacation. Little do you know this was our first family vacation after my brother was med flighted in Hawaii as result of a heart attack 2 years prior.We won't be returning to Washington Island and I'll be telling everyone I know about our experience.

We had a great time exploring Washington Island, mopeds are the way to go! The ladies are wonderful and teach you the safety of using the mopeds. When we visit again, we will definitely be getting there when they open, so much fun on them!

The ladies here were wonderful!! Great sense of humor and safety was very clearly number one priority, which both my partner and I appreciated. We both have motorcycle endorsment and extensive experience with motorcycles. Seeing how they went about teaching, I appreciated versus other places I have rented from before and they cover nothing and send beginners on their way. Glad to know they like to keep their clients safe and property intact. The scooters themselves were very nice and ran beautifully, no problems whatsoever. The scooters have plenty of power to them as well. You are shown everything about how to operate them and safely, as well as great spots to stop and see around the island. Great price as well!! Thank you for the fun experience. :)

We had the greatest time exploring Washington Island on mopeds! Such a fun and unique experience. We arrived right when they opened, and the all day experience was the perfect length of time!

This is an odd, uncomfortable establishment. Almost ruined my entire trip! Although there are so many other nice people on the island, that I was able to forget about the gnarly owner and move on (without her Moped!).I waited in line while the crotchety owner barked at the 2 customers ahead of me. She also barked at her colleague, who gave me a few side glances. When it was my turn to try the moped, the kind, quiet colleague began giving me instructions regarding starting, stopping, general safety, etc. We were doing fine. Then, the gnarly, crotchety owner came over and started barking at me to "Revv it up!", while the kind, helpful colleague was standing directly in front of the Moped that I was on!! She just kept barking! It was very uncomfortable and not at all helpful. Simply a show of power, I guess.The island itself is so peaceful and relaxing, but this woman nearly ruined it for me.I'll just bring my own bicycle next time. : )

Great way to see the island and fun. I cant believe it has been a year since our visit. We will definitely come back and rent the mopeds again. The staff here were very knowledgable and professional. The equipment was very well maintained and worked great. This island is perfect for this type of tourism.

Had so much fun renting mopeds from Annie's! It was my first time and the ladies did a great job getting us ready for our adventure. I would highly recommend doing this if you are planning to tour Washington Island!

Went here and rented a couple of mopeds for my wife and I. Very friendly and great service. Only stayed for an hour which isn't enough time for the size of the island but will definitely be back again for longer.
