Had reservation. Upon arriving today, there was a sign up saying the waterslides and pool were closed for maintenance. Nothing sent via email or anything on their website. Thankfully, they gave me a complete refund. As big of a place as this is, you would think they would have decent consideration to let people with reservations know before they check in that the fun stuff is closed. Would have been nice to know before driving 2 hrs. Get your shit together, three bears resort.

Our experience here was mixed. It was off season, so I get it, but still you have a facility to run. The rooms and facilities were clean and well maintained. The pool was great for kids. The arcade was expensive. The food on site was poor in the main restaurant and bar. The pool restaurant pizza was very good. Some of the staff was very helpful, others not so much and didn't act like they wanted to be there. I will give the pool staff and lifeguards five stars as the pool area was very clean, well maintained and safe. The life guards were watching over the pools and slide diligently. Last night the one person at the front desk was helpful and friendly. FYI - If you remove or damage your wristbands for the pool do not throw them away, you have to turn them in for new ones at the front desk. No one told us that when we checked in. They finally gave us new wristbands after acting like it was a major thing.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Nearby activities: For food go 15ish minutes back down to Tohma, WI. Hotel food is not worth it. Poolside pizza upstairs is good, that's it.
Safety: Felt safe, no concerns.
Walkability: Easy walking and plenty of elevators.
Food and drinks: Pool side pizza good. Icecream in lobby is good. All other on-site food go someplace else.
Noteworthy details: Well maintained indoor water park. Zero entry pool and small water slides for smaller children. Waterpark has something for all ages. Very well maintained, lifeguards and pool staff were great! Pools are very clean and well maintained.

The villa was very nice the only issue is there were so many Asian beetles and Flies. They should invest in a pest control service.

Water is too cold. Hot tub is not hot. ?♀️ Adults and children struggled to have fun. What's the point?

Intolerable tyrants is how I would describe the employees, I was chased down by a transformer I don't know which way they lean, and question for driving past the place, It's not far from my house I have to drive past it, I don't appreciate them following me around harassing me, driving by my house 40 miles an hour in a 25......

The resort was alrite. The rooms were decent. The indoor water park was alrite as well. But do not go to the 1876 restraunt at the resort. The prime rib was just gross and im a steak lover. W=My wife and kids had past and they took 2 bites. Worst $125 ive ever spent!

We came during their off-season, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The Manager, Corey, in the kitchen was over the top accommodating for us knowing two of our family members have a gluten allergy. Those that expect quick service during off season should not go during off season. They did their best with the people they had, and we were fine waiting a little longer for certain things. Of the five waterpark resorts we have gone to, this one was our favorite!
Walkability: We were in one of their villas. We were one of the closest to the waterpark. It was only about a two minute walk to get into the waterpark. Everything at the waterpark is all in one building which we loved. That way we could see where the other family members were most of the time even if they were on the other side of the waterpark.
Food and drinks: If you have an allergy, talk to the food manager, and I can assure you he will make your time enjoyable and worth it.

Needed a wheelchair accessible room for my 42 year old brother with an electric wheelchair. We got the suite with the bunk beds. I thought it was great. The tub is a shower chair type. That's okay. Would have been better with a wheelchair accessible one. The hotel room door does not open for him to open it on his own. It has a button for it, but the button just makes the fire alarm beep in the bedroom. I'd stay here again, especially because I have a one year old that was entertained in a stress free, quiet environment. The pathway in the fall was lovely. The pines smelled wonderful. The ponds we pleasing to walk by.
Safety: I have been here 2 times. Once when busy and once when quiet. Both times I felt very safe. Inside and out.
Walkability: Walking to the gas station is really nice.
Food and drinks: Milkshakes at the gas station was nice. We brought our own food and coffee. Last time I was hear the coffee was the worst. And the food looked lame. I'm glad we brought our own food. It was lovely saving money. Haha suite room had a microwave and fridge but no plates, silverware, and the such.

Got a phone call right after I booked letting me know the waterpark was closed the first day but the activity pool was open the second day. So we planned our trip around this information. We go to the pool on the second day and it's closed for maintenance. Surely this was scheduled ahead of time. Kids were very disappointed. Also when I checked in they gave me a paper with the restaurant hours. All of the restaurants were already closed early, but they didn't say that until I asked about the location of the restaurant. We had planned on eating there after a long drive, the website mentions "5 food and beverage outlets". We ended up having gummy bears for dinner. Very poor communication overall. Don't advertise waterpark and restaurants if they are not going to be staffed. Waterpark hours are buried in the website on a calendar. There should be a disclaimer on the checkout page so this is communicated prior to booking. I would not have come if I knew this ahead of time. We checked out and got a refund for the 2nd night. Had to drive to Wisconsin dells and get a different hotel so the kids could swim. We definitely will not be ever returning.
Food and drinks: Restaurants closed early. No staff.
Noteworthy details: Poor communication. Waterpark closed most of the time. Don't advertise amenities that aren't available.

I was here for Cranberry fest 2024 and we stayed in the cabins. Holy cow, what a fun experience! The grounds are super family friendly, the staff was great, and we had an amazing girls weekend!!

Our family comes here every year. Last summer we had a bad experience but we tried again this year only to be extremely disappointed, overcharged. We stayed at a cabin that’s owned but rented out. We rented a stinky broken down cabin that we repeatedly complained about but being forced to stay in the cabin we got, then being charged for all the broken stuff we complained about!!!! The cabin smelled like a sewage and the bedboards were busted up and fragile. The previous people left dog poop and s’mores mess that we complained about, then got charged for. Dirty dishes with ketchup all over in the “clean” dishwasher they said when we checked in they had just finished putting away the dishes so why lie? We bought a life jacket from the lobby they said we couldn’t use in the waterpark and couldn’t return!! The indoor outdoor hot tub was still down. The ice cream freezer clearly hasn’t been cleaned in months. I heard they had new management since last summer so we gave them another chance but was met with a stressful “vacation”

I stayed in a villa with my mother, sisters and a couple friends for a weekend during Cranberry fest this year. We had to leave earlier Saturday due to bed bugs in the beds. They were full of them. The worst experience I've ever dealt with. I've been dealing with allergic reaction to all the bites. Urgent care, steroid cream and prescription for the allergy. They had to of known as bad as it was. Will not ever stay there again!!

Worst choice we ever made. They didn't tell us the park was going to be closed for the rest of the year before we arrived or when we checked OR when we were on the road for 4 hours. They knew days in advance and still didn't alert anyone. Furthermore the "Queen" sized beds were actually size full and in the website the reservation is one price but upon checking in its $100+ more which was not listed on their website. The restaurant food inside there was not very good as well, was dry and bland.

Checked in at this resort staff all acted like it was their first day, while mildly irritating wasn't a big deal to begin with. We moved into our rooms and found that they had not been cleaned and were not fit for occupancy in any way. Smoke detector unhooked and sitting on a nearby shelf. Ceiling falling apart. And the icing on the cake was the used feminine hygiene applicator along with food and other debris left on the floor of the bedroom.
After 3 calls to guest services we were told the best they could do was supply us with gloves to clean it ourselves. So the sign they have posted in the main area of the suite stating that any maintenance needs would be attended to as soon as possible is an utter farce.
