Outrageous overage charges and staff that are completely unwilling to lift a finger to help. This place will make you feel utterly oppressed and leave you feeling defeated. Avoid this bank at all costs and maybe visit a friendly credit union instead.

If you ever have times when things are tight, opt for a credit union instead. This bank charges outrageous fees that eat up your hard earned money.

Disgusted. Corporate America at its finest. This was not my primary account, however when I didn’t live in Viroqua it was nice to have a bank that was in my hometown so I kept it open. The number of fees I’ve paid this bank is ridiculous, and the last situation is unacceptable.I had meant to change my Apple subscriptions to my main bank account and somehow let it slip. I had subscriptions of $4-$20 come out within a short period of time, without realizing my subscriptions hadn’t been changed over to my other card. This caused 6 charges, each for $36, to come out. I hadn’t logged into the app (since I thought I had changed my subscriptions over) and also was charged $7 fees for carrying a continual negative balance. No notification from the app or by phone, so when I happened to log in like I do weekly I was pretty floored.I had a total of $50 in actual charges which caused $286 in fees from Associated, so I went to speak with the bank to see if there was anything they could/would do. The bank teller was very kind and said she would see what she could do. I deposited the money to make my account positive and was told they would contact me later as the manager was busy. After receiving the callback today, they offered to waive the $7 fees, leaving $210 in fees remaining. I stated I felt that wasn’t fair as this was a simple mistake, and she stated that was the best they could do. I have history in banking and have run multimillion dollar businesses; I know that she was lying.I stated if they could not do anything further I would be canceling my account and leaving a 1-star review describing the situation and how the manager Crystal had handled it. Again, I’m entirely disgusted with this unnecessary corporate attitude in a small town bank. I’m now heading there to cancel my account before they can impose even more fees and continue business with WCCU and using the Cash App.
