If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Called around 10am to fill a medication and explicitly said to not run it through insurance that was no longer active. Called around 330pm to make sure that it was ready to then be told there was an insurance problem, and had to wait another couple of hrs for medication that I need to be able to sleep. Pharmacy staff was very pleasant and sociable, however retail was not. When my girlfriend was asked if she had rewards, she looked to me knowing I did, and I chimed in that I had rewards. I was then shot an incredibly dirty look from the cashier. After checking out, we promptly left. Would not recommend, Walgreens is not what it used to be if at all.

Do Not Use the pharmacy here! Sadly, with my script being short stock everywhere and so expensive, I had to go to all the way to Verona to get my script today. When I get there, I’m rudel greeted by a pharmacist named Samantha that claims that they don’t take the GoodRx coupon or honor it even though I’ve been using it for well over a year the other Walgreens by my house, and she continued to charge me full price. She was completely rude and snippy and as I left, I thanked her for price gouging people for meds that they need. The other reviews are completely accurate about how bad their pharmacy truly is.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. Was in there around 9pm on Sunday night and the old lady was so incredibly rude. If you’re miserable in life, don’t take it to work. Will not be returning and highly recommend others not to either.

Verona wi location terrible customer service .. mean disrespect customer .. I went there to do price match online and the cashier give me a ugly attitude " we not doing pricr match"Me: when did your policy change???Her: oh since 12 years I don't think our policy change? What the price??Me" 4.79$Her: give me a ulgy face .. what a old lady .Another employee come by and as like: I would make she place order online with a ugly attitude voice.Me: I don't want this anymore I will order online .. left the shampoo there...Such a ulgy attitude

I am finally going to switch over to another pharmacy. Not only are the staff so rude, you wait on hold when you call for extreme hold times and the pick up line in the drive through takes a year. I have lived in Verona for 17 years and I wonder why it has taken me so long to say I am done.

Bad and slowest service on the drive through. It take forever to it. If you need help hired more people. I change to Costco now.

The store is fine but wouldn't recommend using this Walgreens for the pharmacy. 3 hours to fill a ten day supply of antibiotic, staff were unfriendly when called. Other local pharmacy in town is a much better choice, just couldn't use them with the time of day my order was being sent in

This store is an absolute nightmare. I went in to go to the pharmacy and walked down an aisle past a pile of puke on the floor. No cone or wet floor sign, just some random puke.Their pharmacy is a literal garbage fire. No one knows what’s going on and it’s a disaster. I waited almost an hour and an half for my prescription while they helped everybody behind me first. They are rude and ignorant. And god forbid you try to call them. You can’t get past the automated machine. It’s super sad because Verona could do something much better with that corner plot of land than a disgusting, overpriced Walgreens that nobody wants.

DO NOT use the pharmacy here. We have had many prescriptions not even be in stock even though we get notifications that it has arrived. My father pounded on the glass when there were staff present, but no one assisted him.Today specifically, the pharmacy was closed due to short staff…so I can’t get my medication? Seriously? What a joke. Thankfully I’m able to switch to a different pharmacy.

Wai on hold to speak to a pharmacist to find out what's holding up my prescription for 15 minutes until it was 1:30 and they went on lunch break. What a waste of time to deal with a company that puts profits ahead of customer safety and convenience.

We had a prescription to pick up and a line at these places is expected.. however we waited for over an hour out in our car in line, got to the window and they told us to come inside and my girlfriend is still waiting, in line again. We have been here for over two hours now. Ridiculous to say the least. F*** this place, go out of business if you cant hand someone a prescription within 2 hours.

Waited 30+ minutes for a 'rapid' COVID/flu test even though I had an appointment. Still have not gotten my results back and can't get ahold of anyone via their phone.

This is not meant to be a rude or condescending comment in any way, but when the store's nighttime management and staff in general consists entirely of high-schoolers, it can be tricky to deliver consistent, quality service. This location has a different atmosphere in the morning VS the evening. I think more in-depth mentoring and a more customer focused attitude will help the nighttime staff. Walking into the store in the morning, I am greeted, helped to the item(s) I'm looking for, and even thanked for shopping with them. Walking into the store in the evening, I am never greeted, I'm never helped unless I ask, and I am never thanked for shopping with them.

Like most Walgreens locations, the Verona store is either understaffed or just plain slow! My physicians office left a message for a prescription refill at 10am, and when I called 3 hours later to confirm receipt, they said they had not received anything. I called my doctor back and was told that a message was left with the Verona Walgreens, and the doctor called the prescription in AGAIN. It is now nearly 4PM, and it took 15 minutes to find out if they were filling the prescription. Finally, they are, but there is no reason why a prescription refill should be SO-O-O-O difficult! I long for the days when we got our prescriptions at Target. We never had these problems. Unfortunately, our insurance will not allow us to use Target anymore and we are stuck with Walgreens. If I could move my prescriptions somewhere else, I would jump at the opportunity!
