WORST POSTOFFICE EVER!!!!!!! If I could do negative 1000 stars I would. Last time I checked it's the post office job to receive packages. I do not know what packages are being send USPS or amazon. If it doesn't have the PO number on the package, they will REJECT it. DO YOPUR JOB AND BE A GOOD PERSON AND JUST RECEIVE IT LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!! The one grumpy guy behind the counter SUCKS!

started going there since struck st location west madison, is now overloaded with ppl… Much faster.. The parking lot seems weird/small, but like everything else, it was likely designed for a population size about half of what actually is here.

This place doesn’t seem to run well for some reason. As a postal worker I’m upset with how hard it is for me to get a package. A notice left Saturday. I signed and left at my mailbox Monday. Notice was taken by postal worker. Now it’s Thursday and I’ve called at least 7 times spoke with two different postal mail carriers. And was lied to by a clerk saying it was going out. I will be filing a formal complaint since you all do not want to answer your phones. I will continue to file these complaints until you all start picking up the ball. I understand we are understaffed and new carriers are learning routes which I’m fine with. Just don’t like this run around your all playing.

I want to start out by saying that the people who staff the front area are quite lovely. I've always had great interactions with them, and if my review was solely based on their service, I'd give 5 stars.
The reason I have taken off stars is because I am continually frustrated with the parking situation. There is essentially nowhere for customers to park unless you have an accessibility permit. It doesn't matter what time of day I stop by, morning, afternoon, near closing time - every single time the parking lot is completely full. And it's not because it's busy, the busiest I've seen it during these times is maybe 1 or 2 other customers besides myself inside. This is especially frustrating when all I need to do is drop off a pre-paid package. There used to be a drop off for packages in the back, which would help with this problem, but they have stopped doing allowing this. The parking became a problem within the last year, prior to 2023, I had never had this issue in the 15 years I've been going to the Verona location. I hope it gets resolved soon because the frustration is not worth continuing to utilize this location, which is unfortunate when the employees are so helpful.

Carriers fold magazines and flexible packages in half when my mailbox is plenty large enough for them not to need to do so. Staff at the post office are rude to everyone.

This post office is really just the worst. I wish I would have remembered the name of the agent I worked with, as he is so incredibly rude and condescending. I walk out of there with a frustrating experience every time.

They always fall flat: packages damaged or picked open at seams and edges, envelopes mangled for no reason. Got the cookbook my niece handmade and had printed for the family as a memorial to grandma, and they folded it in half and jammed it into the mailbox. I have a package locker under it. Thanks for ruining this for me.

I usually come by here to buy stamps and have always had a great experience. YMMV, but it seems like a lot of the bad reviews here are for USPS/mail generally and not for this specific post office.

I usually have a really great experience here, but I'm here at 5:08 and the hours say they're open til 5:30 and the whole place is shut down for the day. Sad!

Why is everyone at this unit angry and rude to include the carrier on our route? Someone needs to tell these people what a customer is and what they are for.
