I had a great experience with Jamie. Great cut, conversation and atmosphere. The salon was very clean and sanitary. I felt very safe with their Covid precautions.

I had Amy cut & color my hair on 4 separate occasions, it was my first time getting my hair colored so I didn't know what to expect. Every single time I went to get my hair done it was dyed a different shade of dark brown(even though on my 1st visit we agreed on a color). Amy also didn't dye my hair in sections, which I now know is the correct way to color hair. When dying my hair she would just put the color on quickly without separating my hair into sections and then put me under a heater, which I now know isn't done with just regular hair coloring. My hair was colored so lazily AND half of my gray hairs weren't even covered. She would tell me that it was impossible to get every strand of hair colored since I had such thick hair! Wrong! It just takes some time and patience to get the job done. I stuck with her way longer than I should of hoping she would improve and get better eventually. I always voiced my concerns about the lack of coverage and the different shades of color, however she always brushed them off and assured me that it wasn't the case. The last time I got my hair dyed, my hair was more red than dark brown and of course, I didn't want her to recolor my hair since I didn't know what color I'd end up with. I asked for a refund within the week and she refused to refund my money. I stayed way too long unhappily as her client, hoping for improvement that never came. If you want your hair to have consistent coloring every time and you want your roots or gray hairs covered...Amy is not your stylist.

I went to get my hair cut and colored with Amy at Nuage Salon 4 different times. Each time I went my hair color was a different shade of brown and my white hair NEVER got fully colored. The first time I went we agreed on a color, and that was the only time I got that color! Every time afterwards, I ended up with a lighter brown and even red in my hair! When she does a full hair color, she doesn't even comb the color through the hair, she just applies the color with a brush! That's it! My roots never got colored! She even redid my color for free once bc I still had white hair and when I left afterwards.....STILL WHITE HAIR!!!!!!I told her each time of my concerns and I kept giving her chances to fix my hair and improve or even treat me like she did on my first visit, but every visit my hair appointment got worse. I would leave with a lot of white hair still and usually brown dye on my ears and forehead. She's very distracted and in a hurry, and doesn't give the client the attention they deserve. Plus she charges way too much!!!

Me, my 5 bridesmaids and my mother got our hair done at Nuage the day of my wedding. The staff were very polite and understanding about what we were looking for. They gave us enough time that we were ready early and it didn't feel rushed at all! Our hairstyles looked amazing, we brought in pictures and ideas and they were able to follow them perfectly. I also got a hair trial included which calmed my nerves for the wedding day knowing my hair and makeup would be perfect before the day of! I would recommend Nuage to anyone looking to get their hair done!
