Both my boys go here, 2.8 and 8 months old. We love all the teachers and staff. My boys are both happy, learning new things and thriving. I love the live video app so I can watch my kiddos all day if I wanted. I can recommend this daycare!

There literally is camera footage, of the site director Jennifer Henke yelling at the children. The employees on site work five days per week while managers take off a day. This points to so many issues of transparency in the education system and the US economy at large. I used to perform anaphylaxis screenings and there was a child that went into anaphylaxis. The US needs nationalized childcare, not a private system. I went from making $25/hr in a different field to $16/hr. I honestly did not care, but this points to again, systemic issues which have plagued this society for decades. The state should continue to investigate this location, I’ve worked for five presidential campaigns.

Please consider another daycare if you're on the waiting list for infant/toddler classroomOne of the worst experiences here as a parent was getting harassed while at work on their messaging app that our 14 months old child is not in compliant with their schedules and that we're not doing our jobs as parents, very unprofessional. They definitely don't have your child's best interest at heart but their own interest. And then to watch my child cry for 30+ minutes straight, shaking without anyone acknowledging him, bc he didn't fit their sleep schedule. How traumatizing is that for a parent to watch on their live video feed while at work (this happened on 8/15/22 please feel free to review your footage corporate). The "teachers" there are poorly trained with little to no experience it seems, who knows if they are certified. We have seen so much turnover that we feel they're hiring anyone that walks through the door bc they're so desperate for bodies to fulfill the ratio of workers to children currently there. And still new faces every week for months on end. Everyday is a different person, like how do you think your child is going to build any kind of relationship with that amount of inconsistency, but yet your child should be consistence with their schedule? Our child has been back and forth in different rooms with the lack of staffing and one room definitely doesn't have the toys he needs to develop in his age range. The communication level from am to pm staffing is terrible. Also the app SproutAbout they recently switched to has been a nightmare. It constantly freezes up and you have to try and try for it to update or to come back later for it to work. Even when you send a message in the app they use for "communication", no one looks at it for it to be acknowledged later in the day. "Please don't give my child crackers as his gum are sore from teething" guess what they gave him in the afternoon- crackers! The inconsistency, poor care, and lack of communication is stressful and sickening to my stomach. And another thing, for the app to work for viewing your child through the app, they need to "check in" your child in the morning which won't happen for an hour or two. (Probably trying to avoid state law violation of being seen with children to teacher ratio for being under staff) I can go on about more troubling issues, but we lost all hopes in this place being a fit for our family, it has brought on many stressful days being at work and worrying about our child. I wanted to share to hopefully save someone else the pain and heartaches. You would think because it's in a great neighborhood that you're also getting quality care, but it's not!

LOVE this place! The building is secured- you need a code to get in. Gives parents some peace of mind. My son learned to write his name in a week here, when he had spent months trying at his former school. Kaitlyn, the Director, is the most responsive, organized, person I have ever dealt with. She responds to my questions and concerns immediately and always has an answer. Highly recommend this La Petite.

My daughter attended the AM 4K at La Petite for the 2012-2013 school year and she LOVED it! Her teacher Miss Addie was always very patient and kind and brought out the best in my child. The facility as a whole was always clean and the staff always friendly and helpful. I feel that we are 100% ready for Kindergarten and would recommend La Petite Verona to anyone looking for a caring staff who has the best interest of the children always in mind.
