“Full brake job is great!!!
The first set of rotors we tried were already warped, and they made them right when i went back and told them. They were understanding and kind about this situation. Went out of the way to make me stay happy, and it was noticeable.
During the back brake replacement the mechanic caught a spec problem in the rear rotors size that could have created a problem considering the people who owned the truck before me had the wrong size rotors put on for the heavy duty truck I have needed thick heavy duty rotors. There was a noticeable gap, being they were light duty rotors. The old mechanic before town auto either ignored the gap or didn't catch it.
Good catch for Town Auto mechanics. I feel safe now.

“I so enjoy Mike more miles, this particular location seems to be friendly and reasonable. I like they listen and perform good service. They are cost effective, not the cheapest in town but I don't want that. I want a service place that is laid back and has work done by decent people. Place is clean workers seem job orientated and attentive. Not had any negative reports.”

Absolutely fair pricing, and they're totally upfront about how much time it will take to do a job (and they often get it done sooner). They really care about their customers and we don't really trust anyone else in the area with our cars.”

“This is the second time I have brought my 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade to NRF.
I am very happy to say that after living in the area since 1991, I have finally found a mechanic that I will stick with.
Any time I have had to have my car serviced, the mechanics usually tell me that my car is a piece of garbage and I should get rid of it and buy a new one.
Not NRF! They realize not everyone can do that and each time they have gone the extra mile to fix my car (which is not easy) due to rust and all the can's of worms that can pop up when working on an older vehicle.
Norm (the owner) comes off as a straight shooter and I haven't felt taken advantage of because he keeps me posted every step of the way.
I feel his prices are fair and both times my car has been worked on, I'm certain that much more time was spent in labor than what I was charged.
I also enjoyed watching the interaction between Norm and his mechanic, Scott. They definitely seemed to bounce things off of one another like a true team.
Met Chris, the Office Administrator today and even Norm's wife. Both gals were very friendly.
I really love the vibe of a good old fashioned mom and pop business.
The only problem I have in giving NRF a good review is I'm selfish and hate the thought that next time I might have to wait a week to bring my car in (like so many other shops).
Each time Norm and Scott have gotten me in the same day with the goal of finishing the work by the end of the day or the next morning.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend Norm and his whole team.

“Dependable lives up to it’s name. 1st time trying this place out per a friend recommendations and already saved HUNDREDS of dollars!! Joe is honest and a delight. He finished the work fast too. I went in for a second quote on one strut, he changed less and included the second strut and a lower ball bearing which the other mechanic had not even include in their quote. I asked about installing a hitch and even though he doesn’t normally like to install hitch’s, he did some research for me and told me about how some U-Haul locations do install. U-Haul’s quote was very good for the hitch and install. I made sure to share this contact with my son and plan on referring Dependable Auto Service.”

“We had a great experience with Highway 50 Auto Repair. Our car was intermittently not starting, we gave them a call and they squeezed in a time to drop the car off next afternoon. We went to drop off the car, but instead of checking us in and telling us they'll call when it's ready, they had one of their techs take a look at it immediately. It seems there was a loose battery cable, he tightened it, and they said no charge. He even resisted the tip we offered.
Prompt, honest and really nice people. They've earned our business from now on.”

“When you find a neighborhood mechanic that knows their stuff and gets the job done, you want to keep that to yourself!! It is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I have tried a variety of mechanic shops in my area, and many have been bought out by larger conglomerates and no longer have that personal care anymore. The pricing goes up, and just to look at your cars computer for error codes, they have a fee.
These guys care, and if you need an honest answer and assurance they will get the job done, then this is the place. Remember, it is a small shop, and they may not get to your car that day, so you may need to leave it for them to get it into the service bays.
If it is an emergency or your only car, just let them know. We have had tires, brake jobs, mechanical issues, and small and large repairs done there.
The parking in front can be challenging, but you can pull into the gated area, and they will talk to you there. It is also easy to turn around to get out onto the street.”
