I called to ask about kids medication and the pharmacist Dylan was so kind. He asked about every symptom to make sure his client would get the best care they needed.

After spending all day at the er sick, they finally discharged me and prescribed me an antibiotic that cost several thousand dollars without insurance. My sister is a pharmacy tech in another state and recommended calling the hospital back and asking if they could change the medication to a different one that's just as good. Unfortunately, the walmart in BRF where I live didn't have it in stock, so I tried calling around to other Walmarts to figure out if anyone had it. This walmart confirmed they did have it, and when I called the hospital back to let them know, they said I would have to call the pharmacy back and have them call the hospital so they can confirm everything before they send the updated prescription over. The first lady I talked to before all this was very polite and answered all my questions. The guy that answered after I found out they had to call the hospital literally went off on me, claiming it's not his job to call people, and that I was given bad information. He wouldn't even let me talk, just kept going off about how it wasn't his job. So I had to call the hospital yet again, and then the pharmacy yet again just to be told the same thing by another lady, albeit with a little less attitude. I definitely didn't appreciate the attitude; I spent all day at the hospital without any sleep, I'm sick and could quite literally die without this medication. The hospital finally got it straightened out and sent the prescription over, and I haven't even received confirmation from them that it's ready so now I'm going to have to drive there in the morning, probably to be told that they haven't filled it yet. Will not be using this pharmacy again.

"It'll be another 20 minutes. Please enjoy your shopping..." Their service is as swift and personal as their particular store. It varies with the management paradigm, which, in Tomah, is a little less than I'd like to see. I like convenience, but it's not generally run in a convenient fashion. Generally they have what you need and can get it if they don't. There is also the convenience of them being able to fax your Rx to any of their thousands of stores around the world. It's all about trade-offs with this outfit. To get the perks of the big place, you have to accept the downside of the big place. Both are there.

Again, horrible embarrassing customer service! You should be ashamed!! Got a call that my prescription was coming up with an error message when sending it through insurance. Walmart always faxed the prior auth to the provider to sign. I Was told that I needed to call them. I very politely reminded her that was her job to do. After her talking over me everytime I tried to say something I asked if I could just pay cash so I could pick both my prescriptions up the next day and then I would be switching pharmacies. She puts me on hold, comes back and says I can't pay cash and she will put my other prescription back and I can just transfer all my meds to another pharmacy. I have a lot of medication, they are going to be loosing a big chunk of sales! I then ask to speak to a manager because at this point she is being extremely rude and talking over me. Puts me on hold again, comes back and says a manager isn't available. I tell her I will hold. She comes back on and says now they will fax the prior auth to my doctor to sign but her exact words were "we don't want you calling here checking to see if it's ready. We will send you an automated message when it's ready to be picked up". Soo, they no longer take calls with patient questions, they no longer send your doctor prior authorization to be filled out. WHAT. DO. THEY. DO?!?! Just a side note. I worked in primary care as a medical assistant for 15 years so I know how things are supposed to be done properly as it was part of my responsibilities. DO BETTER!! YOU WILL EVENTUALLY COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE BECAUSE YOU HAVE PEOPLE THERE WHO DONT WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY WHICH LEAVES PATIENTS WITHOUT MEDICATION THEY NEED!!! I will also be contacting walmarts corporate office to inform them of these issues!

Tomah Wal-Mart pharmacy is ridiculous. Got a call saying I could get my script. I then tried to call back so I could make sure of the price. Had to call store customer service and they kept trying to transfer me. I finally talked to someone who said they'd call me and they took my #. They never called. The next day my husband tried and after some major complaints, they looked into it. They then said that they couldn't fill it until Wednesday, leaving me without seizure meds for 5 days. Then, they decided they wouldn't fill it at all because they didn't like his language. After being rude and uncaring of our situation. We now will be using a different pharmacy.

I spent several hours on September 29th, 2021 attempting to speak with a pharmacy staff member and the phone rang and rang then just suddenly disconnected. This happened multiple times. I eventually called the main Walmart number and the person said they could NOT transfer me into the pharmacy and that I would just have to keep calling. I never had the option of leaving a voice mail. Not a customer friendly experience and I will be using a different pharmacy for my business. I then drove over to the store and they had what looked like 5-7 staff members working behind the counter so I'm not sure why they don't have someone that can answer a phone.
