“The Three Lakes Mercantile and General store is one of my favorite shopping experiences in the Northwoods. Please be aware that shoes are no longer sold. One of the pictures shows an entire wall displaying shoes, but they are no longer sold. This store is the best place to get your Three Lakes emblazoned merchandise such as mugs, clothing, and home décor. I like how most of the items have a high quality look to them as opposed to a souvenir look. I got a nice mug that has the Three Lakes Chain depicted on it. Matching coasters are available as well. The items tend to change so it's a good idea to check back in a few months to see if anything is new or if you see something you like be sure and snap it up. Candles, soap, and handbags are available as well. The children's area is not as extensive as what is pictured; however, it is available. The shop always smells so good! The restroom is delightful featuring a full length mirror.”

“If you've been to a dollar tree. This is a normal dollar tree. Everything used to be a dollar now its around 1.25ish? There could be some improvements with the layout but, have you heard of dollar tree?Go here for quick travel needs or if you wished a gas station had a bit more, or kids have a project you don't want to use expensive materials for.This is not a luxury store.Yes, there's a squeaky toy to call the employees sometimes. Thats because for a low cost store they're not hiring a lot of people nor paying them a ton so expectations need to be realistic.This place is realy useful for low budget, quick needs. Staff has always been polite. Cleanliness is sorta bare minimum here.”

“They have a text message ordeal that lets you know of sales and promotions! Gliks is the "fancy" clothing store in downtown Eagle River. There is decent clothes here but look into the text mail alerts for deals”
