“Barbie and I took our very sick new Yorkshire Terrier Puppy to the
Germantown Animal Hospital on Thursday, October 3rd. The staff was so kind and compassionate, and Dr. Ashley spent time with our Winston by sitting down on the floor with him so that she could sense what was really wrong. Her accurate diagnosis and subsequent medication prescriptions have our new little puppy running and playing and sharing love and kisses. We are so grateful and also pleased with the affordable costs involved. The incredible staff at GAH is clearly on top of their game and really care about the health of every treasured pet that has the blessing of their care.”

“This has been my main vet for a while, but recently I had a GI stasis scare with my bunny and their team was able to get me in within hours of my call. Everyone there was extremely empathetic when working with me on payment while having my bunnies health first priority. They also did follow-up check in calls and were able to get me critical care feed for free with my buns meds same day.
Highly recommend this vet for any bun parents looking around, they'll be in great hands here :-)”

“This team is AMAZING! They are so friendly both to the animals AND their parents. I had to bring in my big guy yesterday for an issue I had never experienced with any of my dogs before. They were so kind and thorough and helpful. They explained what they were going to do, why, and how it would help. They even told me there were optional treatments on the invoice that we didn't have to do (I did them, they helped my buddy). I asked about preventative measures and they explained how this event could have happened. They really helped to set my dog-mom heart at ease!
After Tucker had his procedure, he greeted me in the room and then happily greeted his Dr as well. I was SHOOK and that alone let me know how well they took care of my boy. I paid less than half of what I was expecting to, AND they have a great refer-a-friend program. I'm so thankful to this amazing team and my roomies for suggesting them! As long as I live in or near Milwaukee, my pets are coming here!”
“I was new to the Milwaukee area and found My Pet's vet on what I call The Night of the Bloody Paw. One of my cats was periodically bleeding from one of her paws, and I couldn't find where.
This is an independent vet business, and I prefer to do business with independents because I feel like my animals get better care. I did call 3 or 4 other independent businesses before My Pet's Vet, but none of them were taking new patients. This place is a little farther away from me but they were independent and had room for new parients, so I emailed over the medical records for this cat and she was seen either that evening or the next. This was 2 years ago, so I've forgotten some of the details.
They found the claw causing this issue, treated it with kindness and care, and we set up appointments for my cats to get their checkups.
I have senior cats with senior cat medical issues and Dr. Beatty and his team have been wonderful at helping my furry friends live out their golden years as happy and healthy as possible.
This business does see all manner of pets beyond dogs and cats: guinea pigs, lizzards, rabbits, etc. I think there is only one exam room, so there are no long waits in a room full of other animals that could be distressing for the next patient. As of this review, they don't take pet insurance.
Other nice things:
They're very responsive to emails. They even do follow-up emails if your pet is sick, on a new medication, or something to see how it's going.
They have their own parking lot.
They have an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp and landing.
This business is in a house which is fitted for a business, so it has a comfortable, relaxing feel to it that both me and my animals enjoy.
My animals see the same vet and techs every time, and they are able to keep up on who they are and what they need.
This business works with other independent businesses if your pet has or would benefit from some medical care not provided here. The same cat from the beginning of this review received an ECG at this location from a traveling specialist.
Closing note: at the start of 2024 I adopted another senior cat. This one has hyperthyroidism and came to me with coccidia. I adopted another senior with needs because I felt I had the vet support I needed with My Pet's Vet. She's doing great now, too. ?”

“This vet is no nonsense. Some people don’t like that he isn’t all warm and fuzzy, but I appreciate that he gets down to business and doesn’t try to upsell. He is great about getting you in for an appt right away. Prices have always been very reasonable.”

“When I called our normal vet and explained the situation with our cat they told me it was an emergency and I needed to get the cat to WVRC as quickly as possible. I immediately drove there and was greeted with the nicest technician, who took some information and assigned our private examination room. A second technician then came in to collect more details and explained what they were going to do to help the sick cat. I was then greeted by the veterinary doctor who explained what their preliminary exam revealed and she presented me with options for further diagnosis and treatment. In the end the cat was okay and well on the path to recovery. The equally important information is the staff at the Grafton WVRC is absolutely competent, professional and truly care about your pet. The facility is fully equipped and sparkling clean. Highly recommended.”

“Our family dog recently received treatment from Dr. Selin. Ultimately, we had to make the decision to euthanize our dog after exhausting all good options. Dr. Selin and the tech were kind, and compassionate. They made our Sammy comfortable with treats, a toy, and a blanket, as a medicine relaxed him before euthanasia. It was such a hard day, and they did what they could to make it easier.”
