“We dropped our vehicle off this morning at Hometown with the expectation of new brakes all around per a conversation / recommendation with the dealer where we purchased our van from four years ago. A couple hours after dropping the van off I received a call and Hometown said "Your brakes are fine. There is plenty of life left on them and we don't want you to spend money on something you do not need to replace for quite some time."

“First time using GHS and got my brakes done here, I left the shop feeling like I had a new car. Customer service was phenomenal and even ended the transaction with a hand shake! Safe to say I found my mechanic home and I think you should go here for your service. With a full shop I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and it was done by 10:40 am. They are speedy, have great customer service and are informative. I haven’t had any mechanical work done on my car (2014 Toyota Corolla) since getting it and they did my serpentine belt as well! There was no unnecessary hassling for parts I don’t need! Go here or go broke elsewhere, the choice is yours ?”

“We love Adam! He helps us to maintain our 1994 Ford Powerstroke Diesel so it runs like new still. We have also brought him many other vehicles from the 90's that he is well equipped and knowledgeable on. Most shops now a days have never seen vehicles from the 90's so finding a good technician can be difficult. We used to bring him new cars with all the fancy electronics and he fixed those as well (even VW). He keeps me and my wife posted as things progress throughout the repairs. He has helped give guidance on potential repairs when looking at used vehicles and know that he has always kept the final bill reasonable. “When the car dealership told my wife that she needed a new front passenger tire for $218, I about blew a gasket. I checked on line for tire service and came across Economy Tire Sales. Glad I did, the tech, told me there wasn't anything wrong with the tire, but wanted to find out why it was slowly leaking. He took off the tire and found that it needed a new valve stem. He had it repaired in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place for any of your tire needs.”
“This is a small, mom and pop auto shop. I've never actually had my car worked on here, but I would, if the need called for it. I've been here three times now for an emissions test. A few years back, you used to have to go to a Department of Transportation emissions test facility and wait in line for up to 90 minutes to get your car's emissions tested. Nowadays, there's lots of auto shops, all over the city, that provide this service, free of charge. Larry's is one such place. It's super convenient for me because I only live two blocks away. You can simply drive into the lot, walk inside, and you're usually greeted by Larry, himself. If you come for an emissions test, they'll ask you for your paperwork and you can take a seat. In the waiting lounge, they've got plenty of magazines to read, music playing: today was the oldies station, there's a soda machine and a vending machine with candy and snacks. I grabbed a Cosmopolitan magazine and browsed through an article. Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish reading that article because they came in, called my name and I was done already. You're in and out in five minutes! Sweet! They offer all your usual auto services, like: oil changes, brakes, tires, tune-ups, etc., with ASE Certified technicians. They work on all makes and models of cars and light trucks, and they take pride in their work.”
“The entire staff was great I felt very welcomed they came out offered me a water bottle as I waited for my turn they were very knowledgeable and very quick and showed me the oil packages and recommendations for my high mileage vehicle I was her on a weekend getaway and decided to get my oil changed prices are beyond fair and competitive and was happy to pay it for a job well done thank you guys for keeping my getaway going will definitely come back when I’m in town again”
