One of the best vets I've ever been to. They were very knowledgeable and understanding for when my male cat had crystals in his urine and were able to resolve the issue. They helped keep my stress levels down by checking in and I greatly appreciated it.
I would highly recommend them for regular vet visits as well as other medical issues. I'm hoping to find a vet just as great now that I moved away. Thank you again!

I’ve been taking my pets to Animal Clinic in Sussex for 25 years and have always been happy with the care my animals have received. Recently we had a scare and my dog needed emergency surgery. Dr Mackenzie had us come in to be checked out and she stayed way after hours with us, cleared her schedule the following day to do the surgery, and it went perfectly. I couldn’t believe the time and attention we received. They care for our pets like their own❤️

We love the animal clinic in sussex, everyone is so nice and helpful. I feel comfortable having them care for all of my dogs needs. He feels safe there.

We have been going here for 4 years. Mostly for our Holland Lop Bun Bun. Then we started having problems with our New Zealand White Rabbit, Snow Flake, with her loosing fur on her right hock. Recently Snow Flake’s hock was so bad it had to be bandaged and she even had to wear a cone. Dr. Mackenzie had worked diligently with outside specialists to try and get to the root of the cause. She took the time and care to go out of her way to figure out what was going on. She didn’t say let’s do a ton of scans or unnecessary testing, (that would put my sweet girl through more pain and trauma).She spoke with other doctors. Through this we took x rays and learned her left foot was broken instead of sprained from an old injury. The foot is now arthritic is causing her to displace her weight onto her right foot (hence the fur loss and irritation). If Dr Mackenzie was a regular human doctor, I definitely would be her patient. Giving her five stars is not enough!!!!

Amazing team. We have taken both our cats to Animal Clinic and Sussex for years and they are so caring and kind. They helped us through major medical issues and loss with one cat and are so understanding with our other cat who has major vet anxiety. They know their patients by name and explain all cost, procedure and meds and really seem to care for both pets and owners. Dr. Rachel is amazing.

We came to this clinic under the recommendation of a close friend to establish care with our seemingly healthy dog. During our first visit, a cancerous tumor was found. Everyone has been top notch in professionalism and empathy in guiding us through this difficult journey.

We have been going to ACS for over 20 years and they have treated all of our cats (5 in total through the years). Dr. McKenzie and her wonderful staff have been there for the all the good and bad. They take the time to know everything about our cats and call regularly to check in when there are problems. I highly recommend their practice.

Love coming here with Little Dude ? They are so careful and gentle with our senior rescue and all his issues. Vets are detailed, willing to share information and take their time with you.

We have been going to the Animal Clinic in Sussex for 20+ years. The entire staff has always been supportive, knowledgable and helpful. We have found their prices for the same services to be comparable to other animal clinics in the area. We just had to help our 13 year old dog pass. We want to send a special Thank You to Dr. Mackenzie and her staff for always being willing to share their knowledge, to listen to our concerns and sometimes lengthy questions, for the compassion and dedication in helping to keep Jaeger healthy for 13 years.
