“Duluth Pottery offers original works of art (mostly functional, but some just plain gorgeous). I visit periodically for gifts--my mother pretty much only wants to drink out of her Forget-Me-Not mug. Yesterday I came in for the annual mother mug. It slipped out of my hands at the next stop and shattered on tiled floors. I was (and still am) absolutely devastated about it. I decided to try to go back and see if there was a way to repair it (there definitely was NOT...) but the person at the register who helped me was extraordinarily kind and showed me grace during my public breakdown over broken pottery. We found a suitable replacement, purchased it, and went on our way with many well-wishes. If words could mend broken hearts (and mugs), this person could probably save the world. I love the pottery, but the people at Duluth Pottery are even better. Thank you.”
“This is my favorite store. They have long sweaters, paired with tunics & leggings. The jewelry is mostly original. Beautifully pieced together. Quality is a incredible. Prices are where they should be. If you go, make sure you take your time and look at everything. This is not a rush through store. I'll be the envy at the office!”

“I can’t stress how pleasant of an experience it was to shop with these folks! Stressing about getting the perfect perfect souvenir for my wife before my flight home, I was disappointed that every gift shop I entered, seem to be the same merchandise from shop to shop. Not the case with Northwoods at all! I was able to find a gift that seemed to fit perfectly, I reached out to my youngest daughter to get her feedback and she was impressed as well. If your gift shopping in Duluth, this is where you should go first.”

“This store is somewhat out of the way, not in the main shopping area of Duluth, kind of a run down area. Street parking only. Inside is a good assortment of vendors with varied goods. The layout was a bit difficult to follow but worth the effort to see what all vendors had to offer. Prices were fair on what I looked at. Staff was very friendly.”
