This place is so perfect for toddlers! So many fun stations that keep littles busy. Great for toddlers. It is a smaller space so I definitely recommend going during the week to avoid the crowd. The owners and staff are so kind and inclusive. They put a lot of thought into the building and fine details.Go support them!!!

What a great space! They utilize the space that they have well with quality exhibit pieces. I have seen reviews complaining about other guests, which is in no way a reflection of the museum itself as they cannot control the actions of others. The museum and the staff are amazing.

We visited here on our last leg back from vacation to fond du lac. For its size, it has so much to explore. The art studio has so much to do with hot glue gun, letters, beads, etc. There was also toddler area for little ones to explore in peace. We enjoyed the car repair and playhouse with kitchen items. There was also construction and wooden train areas which were a hit too. Subway was just next door which was nice to grab a bite to eat. Children's museum reciprocal membership was recognized so saved 50% on admission.

Took my 1 year old and was dissapointed in how gross the toddler/infant area was. I'm not a germaphobe at all but it was pretty nasty. The baby dolls have not been washed in weeks. Under the clothes were straight black grime on them and outside the clothes wasn't better. I took 3 wipes to 3 different items in there and it blew my mind with how black and brown the wipes were. That is an infant/toddler room which should be cleaned at least 2x a day with the amount kids put stuff in their mouth's. The tops of my friend's 1 year old's feet were black after crawling for 10 minutes on their padded floor. It blows my mind considering one of the employees had a baby with her. i went up to staff and informed them with how gross it was and she said "oh we clean a couple times a week, leave it there, it gets cleaned" and walked away. There's no way that stuff was cleaned recently. I won't be going back there. I'm not sure how it's even labeled a museum, it's a children activity center. Totally unacceptable.

We brought two of our grandkids there. They loved it. Their favorite parts were the sand table and the arts and crafts center.

Kids love it!! A little smaller than most but the kids don't seem to mind honestly.

Fantastic children’s museum - they pack a lot of fun and engaging activity spaces into a relatively smaller space! I went with my nephew (3) and niece (1), and they had a blast! My nephew was more engaged here and had more activities he liked than the Madison Children’s Museum (though that is also great. We loved the “air flow” machine when you walk in and the “car exhibit” the most! Highly recommend, and very frugal - $8. We spent 2.5 hours there and totally could’ve let him play longer!

Small children museum but many unique and fun activities. There is even a craft area. Probably not much fun for kids over 6, but it's a nice option for indoor fun for the little ones.

It is fun and cute, but small. But the 1 star rating is because while my kids did like what it has, it was not a good experience, and I really want this feedback to be taken into account so the museum can improve and be more enjoyable. So, there was a party, not a problem with that, but the ratio was like 3 adults per kid in that party, adults who were not even watching the kids, they were talking among themselves very loud, one had an unleashed dog inside the museum, which was barking to the other kids playing. And because adults were not watching the kids, they were all over the place, like a 10 year old with shoes on playing on the sprout space. They were running everywhere and leaving everything on the floor. And the people at the front desk were not doing anything about it. The girl occasionally came to pick up stuff, but the guy was in his phone all the time.So my kids were not able to enjoy the museum. $8 per person didn't seem worth it.If you are going to have parties, make the people in the party behave and let the museum be enjoyed by other guests, or close it and let the people in the party do whatever they want.

Absolutely LOVED our experience at the Explore Children's Museum. Our favorite feature was the coloring wall where you draw a picture of an animal and it pops up on a projected jungle scene on the wall...it was amazing! The staff is just incredible, they are so welcoming and warm. We made so many new friends!

My 7 and almost 2 year old really enjoyed Explore Children’s Museum. The museum is all one level and more or less open so it’s pretty easy to follow the littles around. There is an enclosed “little sprouts” area for 0-4 year olds which is nice but a higher/more secure gate would be helpful. 3-4 year olds could easily open the gate themselves and were letting other people’s toddlers out of the area. I thought the art area was particularly well done. My oldest really liked the climbing feature, Lego wall and working on the car. The youngest had to try it all but enjoyed the slide, light up peg wall and the table with cars the most. If there are plans to upgrade exhibits in the future I’d love to see a water table.

Very enjoyable for my 3 year old. He can spend hours playing with the trains on the train table. It can get very busy on the weekends with the birthday parties, so we prefer to come during the week. I wish they gave discounts for parents as it’s $8 per person to get in. If I had more than 1 child and my spouse joined us more often, I would do the yearly membership, but we don’t come enough for that to make it cheaper.
